Highlights of Jordan | Partially Guided Tour | 6 Days

DAY 1:                                AMMAN

Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel. The remainder of the day is at leisure. Overnight in Amman.

DAY 2:                                AMMAN – WADI RUM – PETRA

After breakfast, depart along the ancient King’s Highway towards Wadi Rum, a moonscape terrain of ancient riverbeds, wind-sculpted mountains, vast desert vistas and smooth, pastel-coloured sands. Explore this unique Martain landscape on a jeep tour before continuing to Petra. Overnight in Petra. (B)

DAY 3:                                PETRA – AMMAN

In the morning, tour the Petra complex, from the Siq to the Treasury and beyond. If you can make the climb up to the Monastery, it is a worthwhile adventure! Stop by Little Petra (summer months only). Return to Amman in the evening. Overnight in Amman. (B)

DAY 4:                                AMMAN – MADABA – MT NEBO – DEAD SEA – AMMAN

Depart for Madaba to see its famous Byzantine map of the Holy Land. Continue to Mt Nebo, where Moses is said to have viewed the Promised Land. Finally, arrive at the Dead Sea where you can float in the salty water before returning to Amman. Overnight in Amman. (B)

DAY 5:                                AMMAN – JERASH – AJLOUN – AMMAN

Visit the spectacular Roman ruins of Jerash, the “Pompeii of the East”, with its stunningly preserved amphitheatre. Continue to explore the Muslim medieval Ajloun Castle, before returning to Amman. Overnight in Amman. (B)

DAY 6:                                AMMAN

After breakfast transfer to Amman airport or Sheikh Hussein border crossing. End of services. (B)

• Tour can be a combination of regular tours; therefore, coach changes may be required. The same people may not be travelling throughout the tour.
• Horse ride in Petra is included. Horse carriage ride is not included.
• Jeep tour may not be suitable for persons of particular ages or those with medical conditions.
• Entry Visa in Jordan is not included.
• Arrival Procedure: Upon arrival in Jordan, you will be met by our representative prior to passing through immigration and be assisted through the arrivals process. If you are eligible for a Jordan visa fee waiver, you will be issued with complimentary visas before proceeding with our representative through to baggage claim.
