DAY 1: MILAN
Upon arrival at Milan Airport, you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Rest of the day is at leisure. Overnight in Milan.
DAY 2: MILAN – ST. MORITZ (BERNINA EXPRESS) – TIRANO – MILAN
After breakfast, meet your driver and travel to St. Moritz for some free time. Late, board the legendary Bernina Express for one of the world’s most scenic rail journeys through the Swiss Alps. Pass alpine villages, tunnels, and dramatic peaks as you cross the Bernina Pass to Tirano, where your driver waits for the return trip to Milan. Overnight in Milan. (B)
DAY 3: MILAN
After breakfast, enjoy a leisurely morning. In the afternoon, join a three-hour guided walking tour through the city. Begin at Porta Venezia, continuing along Corso Venezia and through the Giardini Indro Montanelli, past the Galleria d’Arte Moderna and Viale Manzoni. Admire the exterior of Teatro alla Scala and the magnificent Duomo, then finish at Castello Sforzesco, a medieval fortress. Conclude with a traditional Milanese aperitivo. Overnight in Milan. (B)
DAY 4: MILAN – SANTA MARGHERITA LIGURE – PORTOFINO – SESTRI LEVANTE – LA SPEZIA
Begin your day with breakfast at the hotel before departing Milan by coach to the Liguria Region. Arrive in Santa Margherita Ligure, known as “La Perla del Tigullio,” surrounded by the sea and mountains. Admire its port and luxury hotels. Continue by boat to glamorous Portofino, renowned for its colourful waterfront, charming streets and exclusive boutiques. Enjoy free time to explore this celebrated seaside village before continuing to Sestri Levante. In the afternoon, enjoy a local food experience featuring regional specialities and wine tasting. Continue to La Spezia for an overnight stay. (B)
DAY 5: LA SPEZIA – CINQUE TERRE – LA SPEZIA
After breakfast, travel to the spectacular Cinque Terre, one of the most beautiful coastal areas of the Mediterranean. Discover the five picturesque villages of Monterosso, Vernazza, Corniglia, Manarola and Riomaggiore, dramatically set between rugged cliffs, lush hills and the sea. Explore the Cinque Terre by local train, with free time to enjoy lunch and discover the colourful villages at leisure. Return to La Spezia in the afternoon. Overnight in La Spezia. (B)
DAY 6: LA SPEZIA – MARANELLO – MODENA – VENICE
After breakfast, depart La Spezia and travel through the scenic Italian countryside to Maranello. Stop in Maranello for a guided visit to the Ferrari Museum, celebrating speed, innovation, and Italian design. Continue to a traditional acetaia near Modena to learn about Aceto Balsamico Tradizionale. Enjoy a guided tasting accompanied by regional specialities, followed by a traditional local lunch in a welcoming family setting. In the afternoon, drive northeast across the plains of Emilia-Romagna and Veneto, arriving in Venice by early evening. Overnight in Venice. (B, L)
DAY 7: VENICE
Begin the day in Piazza San Marco, the heart of Venice. Visit the magnificent Doge’s Palace and admire the historic Bridge of Sighs. Conclude the experience with a traditional Venetian aperitif accompanied by cicchetti, a selection of local small bites. The afternoon is free to explore the enchanting canals, bridges and narrow streets of Venice at leisure. Overnight in Venice. (B)
DAY 8: VENICE
After breakfast, departure transfer to Venice Airport. End of services. (B)
