Explore the Wonders of Cappadocia with accommodation in a cave hotel
Day 1 – Friday: Istanbul
Upon your arrival into Istanbul New airport, you will be transferred to your hotel. Spend the rest of the day at your own leisure. Overnight Istanbul.
Day 2 – Saturday: Istanbul
After breakfast, enjoy a guided tour to Topkapi Palace, St. Sophia (external visit), Blue Mosque and the Grand Bazaar. Overnight Istanbul. (B)
Day 3 – Sunday: Istanbul – Ankara – Cappadocia
After breakfast depart for Ankara and visit the Mausoleum of Ataturk and its museum. This is the burial place of the national hero who founded the modern Republic of Turkey. Continue to Cappadocia, travelling along the picturesque Salt Lake. Overnight Cappadocia. (B, D)
Day 4 – Monday: Cappadocia
Early in the morning an optional Hot Air Balloon tour is available. Then, full day excursion in Cappadocia including visits to the Underground City, Open Air Museum in Goreme and natural fortress in Uchisar. After lunch in a local restaurant, you will have the opportunity to discover and understand the rich history behind local handicrafts like hand-made carpets, Turkish tiles, onyx and potteries. Optional night tour with a Turkish show and dinner is available tonight. Overnight stay in Cappadocia. (B,L)
Day 5 – Tuesday: Cappadocia – Kayseri – Istanbul
Transfer to Kayseri airport for your flight to Istanbul. End of our services at Istanbul airport. (B)
