Itinerary

DAY 1:                                                SANTIAGO DE COMPOSTELA – TUI

Make your own way to Tui. This city is famous for its historical and artistic legacy. We highly suggest visiting the Old Town, the Cathedral and the International Bridge, that connects Spain and Portugal. Overnight in Tui.

DAY 2:                                                TUI – PORRINO

(16.1 km, approximately 4 hours, Difficulty level: medium)

You will have to take your luggage to the lobby of your hotel/pension before 08:00 am. Breakfast at your hotel. This stage is one of the most challenging yet most scenic of the journey. We cross the Miño River and ascend to Ribadelouro. The route may feel longer due to its paved and urban sections, but for those seeking a more natural path, an alternative route through the As Gándaras Natural Park is available and well signposted. Overnight in Porrino. (B)

DAY 3:                                                PORRINO – REDONDELA

(15.5 km, approximately 4 hours, Difficulty level: medium)

You will have to take your luggage to the lobby of your hotel/pension before 08:00 am. Breakfast at your hotel. The climbs on today’s stage can be demanding, but the stunning scenery makes the effort worthwhile. Upon reaching the charming town of Mons, we begin the ascent to Alto de Inxertado, followed by a pleasant descent into Redondela. Overnight in Redondela. (B)

DAY 4:                                                REDONDELA – PONTEVEDRA

(19.6 km, approximately 5 hours, Difficulty level: medium)

You will have to take your luggage to the lobby of your hotel/pension before 08:00 am. Breakfast at your hotel. Today’s stage leads through Setefontes and Arcade, renowned for its oysters. We’ll pass along the Ría de Vigo and through lush forests before crossing the historic Puente de Sampaio en route to Pontevedra. Overnight in Pontevedra. (B)

DAY 5:                                                PONTEVEDRA – CALDAS DE REIS

(21.1 km, approximately 5 hours, Difficulty level: low)

You will have to take your luggage to the lobby of your hotel/pension before 08:00 am. Breakfast at your hotel. Today’s stage offers a calm and pleasant walk with gentle, mostly flat terrain. Along the way to Caldas de Reis, we’ll pass through several charming villages. Overnight in Caldas de Reis. (B)

DAY 6:                                                CALDAS DE REIS – PADRON

(18.5 km, approximately 4 hours, Difficulty level: low)

You will have to take your luggage to the lobby of your hotel/pension before 08:00 am. Breakfast at your hotel. Today’s stage showcases some of the most beautiful landscapes of the Way, passing vineyards, colourful fields, the Bermaña Valley, and chestnut and eucalyptus forests, highlighting Galicia’s agricultural charm. We finish the day in Padrón. Overnight in Padron. (B)

DAY 7:                                                PADRON – SANTIAGO DE COMPOSTELA

(24.3 km, approximately 6 hours, Difficulty level: low)

You will have to take your luggage to the lobby of your hotel/pension before 08:00 am. Breakfast at your hotel. Today marks the final stage of our Way. Following parts of the N-550 and the railway, we first reach Iria Flavia, then continue to O Milladoiro. As the cathedral towers of Santiago come into view, we experience the excitement of arrival mixed with the bittersweet feeling of concluding this unforgettable journey. Overnight in Santiago de Compostela. (B)

DAY 8:                                                 SANTIAGO DE COMPOSTELA

After breakfast, end of our services. (B)
