Itinerary

DAY 1:                                                 SANTIAGO DE COMPOSTELA

Make your own way to Santiago de Compostela. Free time to explore the city at your leisure. Overnight in Santiago de Compostela.

DAY 2:                                                SANTIAGO DE COMPOSTELA – NEGREIRA

(20.6 km, approximately 5 hours, Difficulty level: easy)

You will have to take your luggage to the lobby of your hotel/pension before 08:00 am. Breakfast at your hotel. Departing from Santiago, we leave behind the Plaza del Obradoiro and its impressive cathedral. The hike today leads to Negreira, featuring mostly easy and pleasant terrain, with the climb to Mar de Ovellas as the only notable challenge. Cross the Tambre River via Ponte Maceira before arriving in Negreira. Overnight in Negreira.

DAY 3:                                                NEGREIRA – OLVEIROA

(33.6 km, approximately 8 hours, Difficulty level: medium)

You will have to take your luggage to the lobby of your hotel/pension before 08:00 am. Breakfast at your hotel. Today’s stage is challenging due to its length, but the effort is rewarded with stunning scenery. The route leaves behind urban and cobbled paths, taking you through majestic oak and chestnut forests. Tackle climbs such as Monte Aro, where you’ll be rewarded with spectacular views of the Fervenza reservoir, fed by the Xallas River. Overnight in Olveiroa.

DAY 4:                                                OLVEIROA – CEE

(19.3 km, approximately 4 hours, Difficulty level: medium)

You will have to take your luggage to the lobby of your hotel/pension before 08:00 am. Breakfast at your hotel. The final inland stage follows the Xallas River to Hospital. We pass landmarks including Cruceiro Marco de Couto, the Hermitage of Nuestra Señora das Neves, and the Chapel of San Pedro Mártir, reaching Cruceiro da Armada where the sea comes into view. A steep descent brings us to Cee. Overnight in Cee.

DAY 5:                                                CEE – FISTERRA

(19.3 km, approximately 4 hours, Difficulty level: medium)

You will have to take your luggage to the lobby of your hotel/pension before 08:00 am. Breakfast at your hotel. Today we walk towards Corcubión, a picturesque fishing village recognized as a historic-art site. The Atlantic Ocean accompanies us on the peaceful journey to Cape Fisterra, the long-awaited endpoint of the Camino. Time permitting, enjoy one of the most stunning sunsets at the “end of the world.” Overnight stay in Fisterra.

DAY 6:                                                 FISTERRA

After breakfast, end of our services. (B)
