Taste of Amalfi | Partially Guided Tour | 3 Days

DAY 1:                    ROME – SORRENTO – POMPEII – AMALFI

Begin your journey with a transfer from Rome to Sorrento, enjoying stunning views of the Italian countryside and Amalfi Coast. Arrive in Sorrento, famous for its charming streets, artisan ceramic workshops, and historic churches, and finish with a refreshing Limoncello tasting at a local distillery.

Next, continue to Pompeii, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the world’s most remarkable archaeological treasures. Buried by Mount Vesuvius in 79 AD, Pompeii offers a fascinating glimpse into everyday life in Ancient Rome. Accompanied by a professional archaeologist, explore the preserved streets, homes, shops, and bakeries, and admire frescoes, squares, and temples that tell the city’s story.

Conclude the day with a scenic drive along the Sorrentine Coast to Amalfi. Overnight in Amalfi. 

DAY 2:                     AMALFI

Enjoy a full day of exploring the wonderful coastal resort of Amalfi on your own, taking in the city’s many sites, plunging into the waters of the Gulf of Salerno, or sip­ping some of the locally produced limoncello. Overnight in Amalfi. (B)

DAY 3:                    AMALFI – ROME 

After breakfast, time at leisure. At approximately 2:30pm, depart for Pompeii and continue to Rome, where the tour will come to an end (estimated arrival in Rome is 9:00pm). End of services. (B)
