DAY 1:                                                 ROME 

Upon arrival at Rome airport, transfer to your tour hotel. Rest of the day is at your own leisure. Overnight Rome.

DAY 2:                                                 ROME

After breakfast at your hotel, enjoy a leisurely day discovering the wonders of Rome at your own pace. This package includes a 24-hour pass for the “I Love Rome” City Tour Hop-On Hop-Off bus, which covers all the main sights of the Eternal City across eight convenient stops. Enjoy the remainder of the day at leisure to explore the city. Overnight in Rome. (B)

DAY 3:                                                 ROME – SORRENTO

Depart at 7:30am for a scenic transfer from Rome to Sorrento, passing through the Italian countryside and along the stunning coastline. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and enjoy free time in the afternoon. Dinner is served at the hotel (smart-casual attire recommended). Overnight in Sorrento. (B, D)

DAY 4:                                                 SORRENTO – POMPEII – SORRENTO

Enjoy a day dedicated to exploring both Sorrento and one of the world’s most important archaeological sites. Join a half-day excursion to Pompeii, travelling with our expert tour leader. Upon arrival, a professional local guide will lead you through this UNESCO World Heritage Site, where the remarkably preserved ruins reveal daily life in the ancient Roman city buried by Mount Vesuvius in 79 AD. With skip-the-line access, personal earphones, and a radio receiver, you won’t miss a single detail as history comes to life.
After the tour, return to Sorrento and enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure. Dinner and overnight in Sorrento. (B, D)

DAY 5:                                                 SORRENTO – CAPRI 

After breakfast, set off for the island of Capri. Weather permitting, enjoy a rowboat visit to the famous Blue Grotto, where sunlight creates a stunning turquoise glow inside the cave. Continue to the Gardens of Augustus, a scenic terrace with panoramic views of the Faraglioni rock formations and Marina Piccola Bay. Take in the beautiful views of the Bay of Naples and enjoy free time for lunch (not included). In the afternoon, explore Capri at your leisure. Overnight in Capri. (B)

DAY 6:                                                 CAPRI

Step out early to discover the beauty of Capri at your own pace. Explore the many shops and restaurants of this wonderful island or take a swim in the gulf of Na­ples. Overnight in Capri. (B)

*If the Blue Grotto excursion was missed on Day 5 due to sea conditions, the tour will be rescheduled for today.

DAY 7:                                                 CAPRI – SORRENTO – POSITANO

After breakfast, depart to Sorrento by ferry. Once on the mainland, you will board a coach for Positano, driving along the Amalfi Coast on the most famous road in the Campania region. In Positano, check in at your hotel and enjoy the rest of the day at your own pace. Overnight in Positano. (B)

DAY 8:                                                 POSITANO

Day at leisure to see all that Positano has to offer. Walk to the heart of town on Via Pasitea and weave your way through the city’s narrow streets, terraces, and gardens overlooking the bay. Overnight in Positano. (B)

DAY 9:                                                 POSITANO – NAPLES  

After breakfast, at a designated time, depart for Naples, the third largest city in Italy. Situated along a lovely bay, Naples is known for its islands, the neighbourhood of Posillipo, and Mount Vesuvius. Overnight in Naples. (B)

DAY 10:                                              NAPLES

After breakfast, enjoy hotel pick-up around 08:15am for a 2-hour guided panoramic tour of Naples. Visit the Cathedral and Treasure Chapel, St. Restituta Basilica, Town Hall Square, Posillipo terrace, Plebiscite Square, the Royal Palace, Umberto I Gallery, and San Carlo Theatre. The tour ends in the city centre, leaving the afternoon free to explore Naples. Overnight in Naples. (B)

DAY 11:                                              NAPLES – ROME

Enjoy your final breakfast at the hotel before transferring to Naples train station at the designated time. Travel by train to Rome, then make your own way to your hotel for an overnight stay. Overnight in Rome. (B)

DAY 12:                                              ROME

After breakfast, departure transfer to the airport. End of services. (B)

• Accommodation is subject to change without notice. Every effort is made to avoid hotel changes but should a mid-tour hotel change become necessary after this list has been printed, contact details of the new hotel will be supplied to you by your Tour Director.
• Tour can be a combination of regular tours, therefore coach changes may be required. The same people may not be travelling throughout the tour.
• For operational reasons, order of itinerary and/or excursions is subject to change at any time. Optional excursions not specified in our itinerary will be suggested by the tour leader.
• During peak season, visiting the Blue Grotto in Capri may involve long lines and limited capacity. If access is not possible, or the weather con­ditions do not allow it, our guides will suggest alternative attractions to ensure a satisfying and memorable tour (e.g., Faraglioni rocks).
• Note, a maximum of one piece of luggage per person permitted.
