DAY 1:                                     ROME – SORRENTO – POMPEII – AMALFI

Start your adventure with a comfortable transfer from Rome to Sorrento aboard an air-conditioned coach. Buried under a thick layer of volcanic ash during Mount Vesuvius’ catastrophic eruption in 79 AD, Pompeii offers a rare and vivid glimpse into everyday life in Ancient Rome. Accompanied by a professional archaeologist guide, stroll along perfectly preserved streets, exploring homes, shops, and bakeries that bring the past to life. Admire the frescoes, squares, and temples that tell the story of this remarkable city frozen in time for over 1,500 years. At the and of the tour you will meet your driver. Leaving Pompeii, you will drive along the Sorrentine Coast, arriving to Amalfi. Check-in at your hotel. Overnight in Amalfi.

DAY 2:                                    AMALFI

Enjoy a full day of exploring the wonderful coastal resort of Amalfi on your own, taking in the city’s many sites, plunging into the waters of the Gulf of Salerno, or sip­ping some of the locally produced limoncello. Overnight in Amalfi. (B)

DAY 3:                                     AMALFI

Another day at leisure to explore Amalfi and the Amalfi Coast. (B)

DAY 4:                                     AMALFI – ROME 

After breakfast, time at leisure. At approximately 3:00pm, depart for Pompeii and continue to Rome, where the tour will come to an end (estimated arrival in Rome is 9:00 pm). End of our services. (B)
