DAY 1:                                 MARRAKECH 

Arrive at Marrakech Airport and transfer to your hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. Enjoy dinner and overnight at your hotel. (D)

DAY 2:                                MARRAKECH

Breakfast, then visit the Menara with its historic basin and olive groves, followed by the Bahia Palace with its courtyards, fountains, and mosaics. Walk through the medina and souks, passing Jemaa el-Fna Square, a UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage site. Lunch included. Afternoon at leisure. Overnight in Marrakech. (B, L)

DAY 3:                                 MARRAKECH – AIT BENHADDOU – OUARZAZATE   

Breakfast, then visit the Majorelle Garden, an oasis of cobalt blue and exotic plants, and the Pierre Bergé Museum of Berber Arts. Depart south across the High Atlas via the Tizi n’Tichka Pass (2,260 m). Lunch enroute (not included). Visit Ait Benhaddou, a fortified ksar and UNESCO World Heritage Site, then continue to Ouarzazate, the “gateway to the desert” and home of Atlas Film Studios. Dinner and overnight stay. (B, D)

DAY 4:                                 OUARZAZATE – ERFOUD 

Breakfast, then travel through the Drâa Valley and its palm groves. Stop in Skoura to see traditional kasbahs, pass through Kelaat M’Gouna, the land of roses, and continue to Boumalne du Dadès and the Todra Gorges, a dramatic canyon with vertical cliffs. Continue to Erfoud, a Saharan town known for its fossils. Dinner and overnight stay. (B, D)

DAY 5:                                ERFOUD – MERZOUGA   

Breakfast, then transfer to Merzouga and the Erg Chebbi dunes. Optional 4×4 excursion to Berber villages, oases, and Khamlia to hear Gnawa music. Enjoy a camel ride across the dunes to the desert camp for a stunning sunset. Traditional Berber dinner under the stars with drums and dancing. Overnight in a tented desert camp. (B, D)

DAY 6:                                MERZOUGA – IFRANE – FEZ   

Breakfast, then depart north via Er Rachidia and Midelt, passing cedar forests where Barbary macaques may be spotted. Stop in Ifrane, a charming Alpine-style town, before arriving in Fez in the afternoon. Dinner and overnight stay. (B, D)

DAY 7:                                FEZ

Breakfast, followed by a morning at leisure – a traditional hammam is recommended. In the afternoon, tour Fes el-Bali: exterior of Dar al-Makhzen (Royal Palace), entry through Bab Boujloud, visit Bou Inania Madrasa (subject to access), and stroll the souks, artisan workshops, and Chouara Tanneries. Lunch included at a traditional restaurant featuring local dishes. Afternoon free for leisure. Overnight in Fez. (B, L)

DAY 8:                               FEZ – CHEFCHAOUEN – TANGIER   

Breakfast, then depart for the Rif Mountains. Visit Chefchaouen, the “Blue Pearl,” strolling through its blue-and-white medina and Outa El Hammam Square, with free time for lunch and shopping (not included). Continue to Tangier. Dinner and overnight stay at your hotel. (B, D)

DAY 9:                                TANGIER

Breakfast, then a day at leisure in Tangier. Suggested visits include the Kasbah, Grand Socco, Atlantic Corniche, and Café Hafa. Dinner and overnight in Tangier. (B, D)

DAY 10:                             TANGIER  

After breakfast, transfer to Tangier Airport. End of services. (B)
