DAY 1: ZAGREB
After arrival, you will be transferred from Zagreb airport to your tour hotel. Rest of the day is at leisure. Overnight Zagreb. (D)
DAY 2: ZAGREB
Enjoy a morning sightseeing tour that takes us through the historic Upper Town. We see St. Mark’s Church, St. Catherine’s Church, the Cathedral, the Parliament, and the Government Palace. The rest of the day is at leisure to explore the winding streets of the old town or perhaps take an optional excursion into the countryside. (B)
DAY 3: ZAGREB – PLITVICE – SPLIT
We head south for a visit to the magnificent Plitvice Lakes National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Here, we enjoy the breathtaking scenery of this natural wonder with its 16 terraced lakes surrounded by forested mountains and lush vegetation. A walking tour takes us around several of the lower lakes. After our visit, we continue our drive to Split harbour, where embarkation begins at 2pm. Get settled in your cabin before attending a Welcome reception followed by dinner this evening. (B, D)
DAY 4: SPLIT – SIBENIK (KRKA NATIONAL PARK)
Depart from Split early in the morning towards Šibenik with swim stop (weather permitting) in one of the pristine bays, time to relax and lunch on board. After lunch disembark in Šibenik and continue by bus to visit Krka National Park. It’s magnificent waterfalls, including the famous waterfall Skradinski Buk, are one of Croatia’s most famous sights. After the sightseeing tour, return to Šibenik, a city of exceptional history and rich cultural heritage. Set out on a walking tour of Šibenik historical centre and visit one of the most beautiful Renaissance Cathedrals of the Adriatic. Your evening is at leisure in town. (B, L)
DAY 5: SIBENIK – GALESNJAK – ZADAR
Early in the morning, depart Šibenik and set sail for Galešnjak, a typical small Dalmatian Island, where you will enjoy a swim stop in one of the secluded bays. Enjoy lunch while we cruise into Zadar port. After arrival, join a walking tour of Zadar historical centre and admire the old walls and Port Gate built in the 16th century. Visit the Square of the Five Wells, see the Church of St. Donat, the Roman Forum and the largest Cathedral in Dalmatia, St. Anastasia and enjoy wine tasting in one of the local wine bars. If there is a breeze, enjoy the “Sea Organ”, an architectural sound art, which plays music by way of sea waives move into the tubes. Overnight in Zadar (B, L)
DAY 6: ZADAR – PRIMOSTEN
Morning departure for Primošten, with a stop along the way for a swim (if weather permits), with lunch on board. Primošten is a small, picturesque town situated between Šibenik and Trogir, in the central part of the Adriatic coast and surrounded by seven other islets, a wonderful sight and an exceptional breathtaking place to explore. Overnight in Primošten. (B, L)
DAY 7: PRIMOSTEN – BRAC – HVAR
In the morning, continue towards the town of Stari Grad on the island of Hvar. We will sail pass by the most famous beach in Dalmatia – Golden Horn “Zlatni rat” near Bol on the island of Brac – whose pebbles shift from side to side as the wind and waves constantly change in shape. Swim stop near Golden Horn is possible (weather permitting). We head off to Hvar Island where we’ll visit Stari Grad. Stari Grad is one of the oldest towns in Europe with many friendly konobas and restaurants in the backstreets of the old town. The Stari Grad Plain and the old town centre of Stari Grad have been listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2008. Your evening is free to explore Stari Grad on your own. (B, L)
DAY 8: HVAR – VIS
Our morning cruise starts with Hvar Town. Hvar is a charming seaside town and a favourite holiday destination for international celebrities. During a walking tour through the old town and its picturesque little streets, you will see the St Stephen’s Square, the largest piazza in Dalmatia and the main town square, St Stephen’s Cathedral, the first public theatre in Europe, renaissance-style loggia, and its clock tower. Above the town is the impressive fortress Fortica/ Spanjola offering magnificent views over the bay and Pakleni islands. After lunch disembark in Vis and continue by bus to visit Komiža a charming and lively fishing village located on the southwest side of the island of Vis, where you can walk and enjoy the unique Mediterranean atmosphere and history that is reflected in every stone house, narrow streets, fishing boats that dominate the harbour. After that, return to the town of Vis, one of the most remote Croatian islands, which remained inaccessible to visitors due to the presence of a military base until 1989. When the island finally opened to tourism, Vis retained the impression of wild, untouched beauty that captivated those looking to get off the beaten track. In the evening enjoy Captain’s dinner on board. (B, L, D)
DAY 9: VIS – BISEVEO – SPLIT
We will have an early morning cruise towards the small island of Biševo to visit the Blue Cave, a magnificent natural phenomenon. Visiting the cave is permitted depending on weather conditions. We arrive in Split in the afternoon. This UNESCO World Heritage city bases the city centre around the stunning Diocletian’s Palace, the Roman emperor Diocletian’s retirement palace from 295-305 AD. Stroll through the palace basement filled with market stalls and experience the historical architecture of this beautiful palace. See the remnants of Split’s Roman heritage, as well as its Renaissance and Gothic structures, Jupiter’s temple, the Peristyle, and many other unique sites. Overnight in Split. (B, L)
DAY 10: SPLIT
After breakfast, it’s time to disembark your vessel. Transfer to Split airport. End of our services. (B)
