DAY 1:                                   ZAGREB 

Upon arrival at Zagreb Airport, transfer to the tour hotel. Take time to relax before meeting fellow travellers and the tour director over a welcome drink. Overnight in Zagreb.  

DAY 2:                                   ZAGREB 

This morning, enjoy a city tour featuring the historic Upper Town, St. Mark’s Church, St. Catherine’s Church, the Cathedral, Parliament, and Government Palace. The rest of the day is at leisure to explore the winding streets of the old town. Overnight in Zagreb. (B) 

DAY 3:                                   ZAGREB – LJUBLJANA – BLED 

After breakfast head towards Ljubljana, the capital of Slovenia. Enjoy a walking tour of the old city centre, highlighting the picturesque open-air Central Market, the Three Bridges, the Baroque Town Hall, and Robba’s Fountain. Then, continue to Bled for dinner and an overnight stay. (B, D)

DAY 4:                                   BLED 

Nestled beside an Alpine Lake and surrounded by high peaks, Bled was “discovered” by travellers in the mid-19th century. Today, it is a vibrant, year-round resort. A sightseeing tour includes the charming town, lakeshore, and panoramic views of Bled Castle, perched on a cliff above the lake. The remainder of the day is at leisure. Overnight in Bled. (B) 

DAY 5:                                   BLED – POSTOJNA – OPATIJA – PLITVICE 

Today’s journey continues to Postojna, home to one of Europe’s largest cave systems. Explore this fascinating underground world aboard a miniature electric train. Then, travel to the elegant seaside town of Opatija and enjoy a walking tour of this once-fashionable 19th-century resort, known for its Habsburg-era villas. After some free time, continue to Plitvice Lakes. Overnight in Plitvice. (B, D) 

DAY 6:                                   PLITVICE – SPLIT 

After breakfast, enjoy a walking tour of the lower lakes in Plitvice Lakes National Park, a stunning natural wonder with sixteen terraced lakes connected by cascading waterfalls and surrounded by lush forest. After the tour, travel to Split for an overnight stay. (B, D)

DAY 7:                                   SPLIT 

In the morning, enjoy a sightseeing tour of the historic inner city, centred around the Roman Emperor Diocletian’s Palace, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Discover Roman, Renaissance, and Gothic landmarks, including Jupiter’s Temple, the Peristyle, and the Cathedral. The rest of the day is at leisure to explore Split or relax at the beach. Overnight in Split. (B)

DAY 8:                                   SPLIT 

After breakfast, transfer to Split Airport. End of services. (B)

• Tour can be a combination of regular tours; therefore, coach changes may be required. The same people may not be travelling throughout the tour.
• Because of the narrow and cobbled streets, walking is the primary way of getting around. Please make sure you pack comfortable walking shoes.
