DAY 1: ZAGREB
Welcome to Croatia! After arrival, you will be transferred from Zagreb airport to your tour hotel. Rest of the day is at leisure. Meet with your tour director and get to know the details of your tour! Overnight in Zagreb.
DAY 2: ZAGREB
Begin your day with a guided walking tour of Zagreb’s historic capital, featuring Gornji Grad and Kaptol. Explore a medieval urban complex of churches, palaces, museums, galleries, and government buildings-some of the city’s top sights. Enjoy a free afternoon to discover the city at your own pace. Overnight in Zagreb. (B)
DAY 3: ZAGREB – NOVI SAD – BELGRADE
After breakfast drive to Serbia. Along the way, stop in Novi Sad for lunch and a brief city tour. See the famous Petrovaradin Fortress overlooking the Danube River, Church of Mary’s Name, the architectural gems of Liberty Square, Zmaj Jovina Street, Orthodox Cathedral, and the Bishop’s Palace. Arrive in Belgrade, Serbia’s capital, in the late afternoon. Enjoy free time to explore the city and overnight in Belgrade. (B, L)
DAY 4: BELGRADE
Explore the Serbian capital on a morning sightseeing tour. Visit the upscale Dedinje district and the distinctive TV Pink building. Pass through vibrant spots like Republic Square with the Parliament, Terazije, and Slavia. Stroll along Belgrade’s main streets, Knez Mihailova, and end at Kalemegdan Fortress, where you’ll enjoy stunning views of the city and the meeting point of the Danube and Sava rivers. Afternoon free time to explore at your leisure. Overnight in Belgrade. (B)
DAY 5: BELGRADE – NIS – SKOPJE
Depart from the hotel in the morning and drive to Skopje, stopping in Niš along the way. Niš, one of the oldest cities in the Balkans and Europe, has long been a gateway between East and West. Despite its turbulent history, Niš is now a key industrial centre in Serbia, known for electronics, mechanical engineering, textiles, and tobacco. Arrive in Skopje in the late afternoon. Overnight in Skopje. (B, L)
DAY 6: SKOPJE – OHRID
Explore the Macedonian capital Skopje in the morning with a sightseeing tour including the Stone Bridge, St. Spas Church, Kale Fortress, a mosque, and more. Stroll through the charming old bazaar and soak in the atmosphere. In the afternoon, drive to the beautiful Lake Ohrid. Overnight in Ohrid. (B, L)
DAY 7: OHRID – TIRANA
Ohrid, once known as the “town of 365 churches”-one for each day of the year-and often called the “second Jerusalem,” still boasts around 70 churches. Recognized by UNESCO, it’s one of the oldest and most complete architectural ensembles in southeastern Europe. After exploring Ohrid, continue to Albania’s capital, Tirana. Visit its highlights including the Et’hem Bey Mosque, Clock Tower, Palace of Culture, and the Mother Albania monument. Overnight in Tirana. (B, L)
DAY 8: TIRANA – SKADAR LAKE – PODGORICA – TIRANA
Travel to Montenegro with a stop at Skadar Lake, Europe’s largest bird reserve and the final refuge for pelicans. In the afternoon, arrive in Podgorica for a brief guided walk through the city centre. Overnight in Tirana with free time to explore the capital independently. (B, L)
DAY 9: TIRANA – BUDVA – KOTOR – DUBROVNIK
From the capital, enjoy a morning coffee in Budva before heading to Kotor, a stunning bay town and UNESCO World Heritage site. Your last stop before returning to Croatia is the charming hidden gem of Perast, known for its 18th-century monuments like shipowners’ homes, the baroque Bujović Palace (now a county museum), and the Maritime School. In the late afternoon, drive to Dubrovnik, the Croatian pearl of the Adriatic. Overnight in Dubrovnik. (B, L)
DAY 10: DUBROVNIK
Dubrovnik is a stunning gem on the Adriatic coast and one of the world’s most iconic cities. Once a powerful merchant city-state, it played a key role in the region’s history. Stroll along the medieval walls that encircle the old town and uncover its ancient secrets. Highlights include Pile Gate, the Franciscan Monastery, and the Rector’s Palace-all sure to impress. The afternoon is yours to explore independently. Overnight in Dubrovnik. (B)
DAY 11: DUBROVNIK
After breakfast, transfer to Dubrovnik airport. End of services. (B)
