Day 1: VIENNA
Welcome to Austria and its historical capital, Vienna. After arrival, you will be transferred from Vienna airport to your tour hotel. Rest of the day is at leisure. Meet with your tour director to get all the information about the tour. Overnight in Vienna.
Day 2: VIENNA
Begin your day with a guided tour of Vienna, exploring the elegant Ringstrasse, the Hofburg with the renowned Spanish Riding School, Parliament, City Hall, Urania Palace, Karlskirche, and the lively Graben Street leading to St. Stephen’s Cathedral. A visit to the magnificent Schönbrunn Palace is also included. Enjoy the afternoon at leisure-perfect for shopping or savouring a slice of the famous Sacher cake at one of Vienna’s charming coffee houses. Overnight in Vienna. (B)
Day 3: VIENNA – MELK – LINZ – SALZBURG
Leave the imperial capital behind and head toward Salzburg, with your first stop at the renowned Melk Monastery-a stunning Benedictine abbey housing the tomb of Saint Coloman and members of the Babenberg dynasty, Austria’s first rulers. Continue to Linz, the third-largest city in Austria and capital of Upper Austria, for lunch and a walking tour of this dynamic and evolving city. Arrive in Salzburg in the late afternoon, check in, and enjoy some free time. Overnight in Salzburg. (B, L)
Day 4: SALZBURG
Start the day with a guided tour of Salzburg, featuring highlights such as the Residence, Carillon, Cathedral, Franciscan Church, Mozart Square, and iconic “The Sound of Music” sites like Mirabell Gardens and Nonnberg Abbey. Enjoy the afternoon at your leisure. Overnight in Salzburg. (B)
Day 5: SALZBURG – INNSBRUCK
Depart for Innsbruck with a stop at Swarovski Crystal Worlds, a dazzling museum celebrating the brand’s 100th anniversary. Then continue to Innsbruck to see highlights like the Golden Roof, St. Jacob’s Cathedral, and the Hofburg Palace. Check in and enjoy free time. Overnight in Innsbruck. (B, L)
Day 6: INNSBRUCK – BOLZANO – LAKE GARDA
Depart Slovenia and head into Italy’s Dolomites, passing through the Austrian Alps and into the scenic South Tyrol region. Drive past Merano, known for its charming Tyrolean architecture, and stop in Bolzano, the medieval capital of Alto Adige, for a visit and lunch. Continue to the Garda Lake area and enjoy the evening at your leisure. Overnight in Lake Garda. (B, L)
Day 7: LAKE GARDA
Free time to explore Lake Garda at your own pace. Overnight in Lake Garda. (B)
Day 8: LAKE GARDA – VERONA – VENICE
Check out from your hotel at Lake Garda and head toward the Adriatic coast. On the way, stop in romantic Verona, the UNESCO-listed city of Romeo and Juliet. A guided tour will take you through highlights like Piazza delle Erbe, the Roman amphitheatre, and Juliet’s house. Enjoy free time for lunch and exploring before continuing to Venice. Arrive in the late afternoon and enjoy the evening at your leisure. Overnight in Venice (Mestre). (B)
Day 9: VENICE
Hop on a taxi boat for a guided tour through St. Mark’s Square, where you’ll see the Basilica with its iconic mosaics, the bell tower, the Astrological Clock, Doge’s Palace, and cross the famous Rialto Bridge while hearing tales of historic Venetians. Enjoy a free afternoon to explore at your own pace, shop for Murano glass, or relax with a coffee in St. Mark’s Square. Return to the hotel in the evening. Overnight in Venice (Mestre). (B)
Day 10: VENICE – TRIESTE – LJUBLJANA
Depart Venice and head towards Slovenia, stopping en route in Trieste, Italy’s most cosmopolitan city. Enjoy a guided tour of Piazza Unità, the grand palazzi, and the Greek Orthodox Church of San Nicolò on the Trieste Canal Grande. After lunch at a traditional trattoria, continue to Ljubljana. Arrive late afternoon and overnight in Ljubljana. (B, L)
Day 11: LJUBLJANA
Begin your day exploring the charming Slovenian capital, Ljubljana. Your guide will show you key sights like Preseren Square, the Triple Bridge, Fish Market, Town Hall, and more. To complete the experience, take the funicular up to Castle Hill to learn about Ljubljana and Slovenia’s history while enjoying stunning views. After lunch, enjoy a free afternoon to explore the city at your own pace. In the evening, join your group for a farewell dinner. Overnight in Ljubljana. (B, D)
Day 12: LJUBLJANA
Breakfast at your hotel. Transfer to Ljubljana airport. End of our services. (B)
