DAY 1:                                 MADRID – LEON – OVIEDO  

Depart from selected Madrid hotels at approximately 08:15 am, or the bus terminal located at, Calle Ferraz 3, Madrid, at 7:30 am – 08:00 am. (Check your voucher for exact information regarding your pickup up or if you need to make your way to the terminal. Please be at the terminal no later than 07:45 am).

Depart for Leon. Enjoy free time to explore this city at leisure. Continue to Oviedo for an overnight stay. (D*)

DAY 2:                                 OVIEDO – LA CORUNA – SANTIAGO DE COMPOSTELA

Breakfast at your hotel. Depart for Galicia, arriving in the elegant coastal city of La Coruña, where you’ll enjoy a brief panoramic tour. Continue to Santiago de Compostela, one of the world’s most revered pilgrimage destinations. On arrival, take a guided city tour featuring the iconic Plaza del Obradoiro and the magnificent Cathedral-both the spiritual and artistic heart of Santiago. Dinner and overnight in Santiago de Compostela. (B, D)

DAY 3:                                 SANTIAGO DE COMPOSTELA
Breakfast at the hotel. Enjoy a full day at leisure to explore Santiago de Compostela at your own pace. Dinner and in Santiago de Compostela. (B, D)

DAY 4:                                 SANTIAGO DE COMPOSTELA – RIAS BAJAS – VIGO

Breakfast at the hotel before departing for the beautiful Rías Baixas region, renowned for its picturesque coastline and scenic landscapes. Stop at La Toja Island before continuing to O Grove. Afterwards, travel to Vigo and enjoy free time to explore at leisure. Overnight in Vigo. (B, D*)

DEPARTURES FROM 27 MAR 2026:

DAY 5:                                 VIGO – VIANA DO CASTELO – BRAGA – PORTO

After breakfast, cross the Portuguese border and arrive in Viana do Castelo, city located between the mouth of the river Miño and Porto. Free time to visit the old town with cobbled streets and emblazoned buildings. We continue to Braga known as the city of the archbishops and the third most populated city in Portugal. Free time. Proceed to Porto for an overnight stay. (B)

DEPARTURES FROM 19 MAR 2027:

DAY 5:                                 VIGO – VIANA DO CASTELO – BRAGA – GUIMARÃES – PORTO

After breakfast, cross the Portuguese border we arrive to Viana do Castelo, city located between the mouth of the river Miño and Porto. Free time to visit the old town with cobbled streets and emblazoned buildings. We continue to Braga known as the city of the archbishops and the third most populated city in Portugal. Continue to Guimarães, known as the first capital of the kingdom and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Depart for Porto for an overnight stay. (B)

DAY 6:                                 PORTO

Breakfast at the hotel. Enjoy a panoramic sightseeing tour of Porto, taking in some of the city’s most notable landmarks, including Porto Cathedral, the Stock Exchange Palace and Santa Clara Church. Continue to a local wine cellar for a tasting of the region’s famous Port wine. Overnight in Porto. (B)

DEPARTURES FROM 27 MAR 2026

DAY 7:                                 PORTO – COIMBRA

After breakfast, depart for Coimbra, site of one of the oldest universities in Europe and the birthplace of Fado, the music of Portugal. Lunch and time at leisure. Overnight in Coimbra. (B, L)

DEPARTURES FROM 19 MAR 2027:

DAY 7:                                 PORTO – AVEIRO – COIMBRA

Breakfast at the hotel. Depart for Aveiro, often referred to as the “Portuguese Venice” for its picturesque canals and colourful boats. Continue to historic Coimbra, home to one of Europe’s oldest universities and renowned for its distinctive style of Fado music. Enjoy lunch followed by free time to explore the city at your own pace. Overnight in Coimbra. (B, L)

DAY 8:                                 COIMBRA – FATIMA – LISBON

After breakfast, travel to Fatima, an important pilgrimage centre. Free time to visit the Shrine and afterwards continue to Lisbon, the capital of Portugal located at the mouth of the Tagus River. Overnight in Lisbon. (B)

DAY 9:                                 LISBON

Breakfast at the hotel. Morning panoramic sightseeing tour of this beautiful city, located at the mouth of the Tagus River: Edward VII Park’s hilltop viewpoint, Rossio Square, Liberdade Avenue, Madragoa District (where Fado, the traditional Portugues music was born). We will continue to the Belem District, with its famous Tower, Monument to the Navigators, and Los Jeronimos Monastery. Free afternoon. Overnight in Lisbon. (B)

DAY 10:                              LISBON – MERIDA – MADRID

Breakfast at the hotel before departing towards the Spanish border and continuing to Mérida. Enjoy free time to explore the city’s remarkable Roman heritage, including its impressive Theatre and Amphitheatre, part of Mérida’s UNESCO World Heritage-listed archaeological ensemble. Continue to Madrid, where the tour concludes on arrival. Hotel drop-off is not included, and travellers will need to make their own way to their accommodation. (B)
