Spain Experience | Guided Group Tour | 14 Days

DAY 1:                                MADRID – CORDOBA – SEVILLE

Depart from selected Madrid hotels at approximately 08:15 am, or the bus terminal located at, Calle Ferraz 3, Madrid, at 7:30 am – 08:00 am. (Check your voucher for exact information regarding your pick up or if you need to make your way to the terminal.)

Depart Madrid by driving through La Mancha country to Cordoba and enjoy a city tour visiting the famous Mosque/Cathedral and Jewish Quarter. Continue to Seville for an overnight stay. (D*)

DAY 2:                                 SEVILLE

Breakfast at the hotel. This morning, enjoy a guided sightseeing tour of Seville, taking in the beautiful María Luisa Park and the impressive Plaza de España. Admire the exterior of Seville Cathedral and its iconic Giralda bell tower before exploring the charming Santa Cruz neighbourhood, known for its picturesque streets, lively squares and narrow winding lanes. Overnight in Seville. (B, D*)

DAY 3:                                 SEVILLE – GRANADA

After breakfast depart Seville for Granada. Enjoy a sightseeing tour visiting the impressive Alhambra, a world heritage site, and the beautiful gardens of the Generalife. Overnight in Granada. (B, D)

*Note: If the Patronato of the Alhambra and Generalife do not grant tickets for participants to visit the Alhambra and Generalife, a tour of the city of Granada will be provided instead. Visit to the Palace of Carlos V, the Archaeological Museum, Church of Santa María de la Alhambra, Royal Chapel, and a walk through the city Alcaiceria (silk market) and the Cathedral Square.

DAY 4:                                 GRANADA – VALENCIA

Breakfast at the hotel. Depart Granada via Guadix, Baza and Puerto Lumbreras towards the Mediterranean coast and arrive in Valencia. Overnight in Valencia. (B)

Note, departures in 2027: Jun 28; Oct 18 will stay overnight in the city of Alicante instead of Valencia.

DAY 5:                                 VALENCIA – BARCELONA

Departures till 18 Mar 2027: Following breakfast, enjoy some free time in Valencia. At mid-morning depart Valencia for Barcelona. Overnight in Barcelona. (B)

Note, for logistical reasons, the sightseeing tour of Barcelona may be performed in the afternoon upon arrival instead of the morning of day 6.

Departures from 19 Mar 2027: Breakfast at the hotel. Enjoy some free time in Valencia before departing in the late morning for Barcelona. Upon arrival, enjoy a panoramic sightseeing tour featuring Montjuïc, offering spectacular city views, the Olympic Ring, the Columbus Monument and the iconic Sagrada Família. Overnight in Barcelona. (B)

DAY 6:                                 BARCELONA

Departures till 18 Mar 2027: After breakfast enjoy a morning sightseeing tour of Barcelona visiting the Park of Montjuic with spectacular views, Olympic Ring, monument to Columbus and the old Gothic Quarter. Afternoon at leisure. Overnight in Barcelona. (B)

Departures from 19 Mar 2027: Breakfast at the hotel. Enjoy a full day at leisure to explore Barcelona at your own pace. Overnight in Barcelona. (B)

DAY 7:                                BARCELONA – ZARAGOZA – PAMPLONA

Breakfast before departing for Zaragoza, with a short stop to visit the Basilica de Nuestra Señora del Pilar, patroness of the Hispanic world. Continue to Pamplona, famous for the San Fermín festival and its picturesque old town. Dinner and overnight in Pamplona. (B, D*)

DAY 8:                                 PAMPLONA – SAN SEBASTIAN – BILBAO – SANTANDER

Departures till 18 Mar 2027: Breakfast at your hotel. Depart for San Sebastian, one of the most elegant cities in Northern Spain. Free time to stroll along La Concha Bay or enjoy the old town. Continue to Bilbao, the capital of the province of Biscay, with a brief stop to admire the avant-garde Guggenheim Museum building. The journey then continues to Santander for dinner and an overnight stay. (B, D)

Departures from 19 Mar 2027: Breakfast at the hotel before departing for San Sebastián, one of northern Spain’s most elegant coastal cities. Enjoy a short panoramic tour followed by a visit to Mount Igueldo, offering spectacular views across the bay. Continue to Bilbao, with a brief stop to admire the striking exterior of the iconic Guggenheim Museum. Afterwards, travel onwards to Santander for dinner and an overnight stay. (B, D)

DAY 9:                                SANTANDER – SANTILLANA – COVADONGA – OVIEDO

After breakfast, depart to Santillana del Mar, a medieval village considered a National Monument. Travel to Covadonga with free time to visit the Sanctuary. Continue to Oviedo for an overnight stay. (B, D*)

DAY 10:                              OVIEDO – LA CORUNA – SANTIAGO DE COMPOSTELA
Breakfast at the hotel before departing for Galicia and the elegant city of La Coruña, where you will enjoy a brief panoramic tour. Continue to Santiago de Compostela, one of Europe’s most renowned pilgrimage destinations. On arrival, enjoy a city tour featuring the impressive Plaza del Obradoiro and the magnificent Santiago de Compostela Cathedral, the spiritual and architectural heart of the city. Dinner and overnight in Santiago de Compostela. (B, D)

DAY 11:                              SANTIAGO DE COMPOSTELA

Breakfast at your hotel. Enjoy a free day to explore the city at your own pace. Dinner and overnight in Santiago de Compostela. (B, D)

DAY 12:                              SANTIAGO DE COMPOSTELA – RIAS BAJAS – VIGO

After breakfast, departure for the area of the Spanish Fjords (Rias Bajas), through splendid landscapes: with a brief stop at La Toja Island. Stop at O Grove to take an optional tour on a catamaran and see an oyster and mussel farm, which includes mussel and Ribeiro wine tasting. Continue to Vigo and enjoy some free time. Overnight in Vigo. (B)

DAY 13:                              VIGO – LEON

Breakfast before departing for the inland region of Castilla y León. Arrive in León, a historic city renowned for its rich artistic heritage. Enjoy free time to visit the stunning Gothic cathedral or explore the charming old town. Dinner and overnight in Leon. (B, D*)

DAY 14:                             LEON – SALAMANCA – MADRID 

Breakfast and departure for Salamanca, with a short stop to explore the charming old town and its renowned Baroque Plaza Mayor. Continue to Madrid. The tour concludes upon arrival in Madrid city centre. Hotel drop-off is not included, and travellers will need to make their own way to their accommodation. (B)
