Journey to Costa del Sol | Guided Group Tour | 8 Days

DAY 1:                                 MADRID – MERIDA – SEVILLE

Depart from selected Madrid hotels at approximately 8:15 am, or from the bus terminal at Calle Ferraz 3, Madrid, at 7:30 am – 8:00 am. (Please refer to your voucher for detailed pickup information or instructions if you need to make your own way to the terminal).

Depart towards the Spanish border to arrive in Mérida. Free time to explore its impressive archaeological site, featuring the Roman Theatre and Amphitheatre, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site.  Lunch at leisure. Then, continue along the “Autovia de la Plata” (Silver Route) towards Andalucia, arriving in Seville. Dinner and overnight in Seville. (D)

DAY 2:                                 SEVILLE

Breakfast at the hotel. Morning city sightseeing tour, including María Luisa Park, Plaza de España, the exterior of the city’s stunning Cathedral and its bell tower, called Giralda and the typical neighbourhood of Santa Cruz with its streets, squares, and narrow alleys. Overnight in Seville. (B)

DAY 3:                                 SEVILLE – CORDOBA

After breakfast, depart to Cordoba. Upon arrival we start our walking tour at Almodovar Gate, through the Jewish Quarter and continue for a visit of the famous Mosque/Cathedral. Afternoon at leisure. Overnight in Cordoba. (B, D)

DAY 4:                                 CORDOBA – RONDA – COSTA DEL SOL

After breakfast, depart to the Route of White Villages and Ronda. After some free time, continue to Torremolinos located on the Costa del Sol where you have the afternoon at leisure. Overnight in Costa del Sol. (B, D)

DAY 5:                                 COSTA DEL SOL

Breakfast at the hotel. Day at leisure in this cosmopolitan city. Overnight in Costa del Sol. (B, D)

DAY 6:                                 COSTA DEL SOL

Breakfast at the hotel. Another full day at leisure. Overnight in Costa del Sol. (B, D)

DAY 7:                                 COSTA DEL SOL – GRANADA

Breakfast at the hotel. Departure to Granada. Visit to the spectacular group of monuments of the Alhambra and Generalife, former residence of the Moorish kings, with its magnificent fountains, gardens, and arches. Overnight in Granada. (B, D)

Note: If the Patronato of the Alhambra and Generalife do not grant tickets for participants to visit the Alhambra and Generalife, a tour of the city of Granada will be provided instead. Visit to the Palace of Carlos V, the Archaeological Museum, Church of Santa María de la Alhambra, Royal Chapel, and a walk through the city Alcaiceria (silk market) and the Cathedral Square.

DAY 8:                                 GRANADA – TOLEDO – MADRID

Following breakfast depart towards the Imperial City of Toledo, full of history and monuments. After lunch, enjoy a panoramic view from Mirador del Valle and walk through its old town. Continue to Madrid. The tour concludes upon arrival in Madrid city centre. Hotel drop-off is not included, and travellers will need to make their own way to their accommodation. (B, L)

• Tour can be a combination of regular tours, therefore coach changes may be required. The same people may not be travelling throughout the tour.

• In the unusual event that group number is less than 12 people, the Tour Operator reserves the right to operate the tour by minibus or private car with an expert bilingual driver. Local visits to monumental cities will be by official local guides.
• On December 26, 2026, accommodation in Costa del Sol on December 31 will be on a bed and breakfast basis.
