Travel from Madrid to Spain’s Atlantic highlights including San Sebastian
Day 1 – Sunday: MADRID – ZARAGOZA – SAN SEBASTIAN
Depart from selected Madrid hotels at approximately 08:15, or the bus terminal located at, Calle Ferraz 3, Madrid, at 08:00a.m. (Check your voucher for exact information regarding your pickup or if you need to make your way to the terminal. Please be at the terminal no later than 07:45). Drive through Lerida and enjoy a short stop in Zaragoza with its 17th Century Basilica. Continue to San Sebastian for overnight. (D)
Day 2 – Monday: SAN SEBASTIAN – BILBAO – SANTANDER
After breakfast, depart for Bilbao, capital of the province of Vizcaya. Short stop to admire the Guggenheim Museum building. Continue to Santander and enjoy the rest of your day at leisure. Overnight Santander. (B, D)
Day 3 – Tuesday: SANTANDER – SANTILLANA – COVADONGA – OVIEDO
Depart to Santillana del Mar, a medieval village considered as a National Monument. Continue to Covadonga with some free time to visit the Shrine. Proceed to Oviedo for overnight. (B, D)
Day 4 – Wednesday: OVIEDO – SALAMANCA – MADRID Following breakfast, depart for Salamanca. You will have a short stop to admire its famous Plaza Mayor and old quarters before continuing to Madrid. End of our services upon arrival into Madrid city centre. No hotel drop off. You will need to make your own way to the hotel. (B)
