Best of Andalucia with Madrid | Guided Group Tour | 9 Days

DAY 1:                                MADRID

After arrival, you will be transferred from Madrid airport to your tour hotel. Rest of the day is at leisure. Overnight in Madrid.

DAY 2:                                MADRID

Breakfast and overnight stay. Enjoy a panoramic sightseeing tour of the city, exploring its main avenues, squares, and iconic landmarks. The remainder of the day is free for leisure. Overnight in Madrid. (B)

DAY 3:                                 MADRID – MÉRIDA – SEVILLE

Breakfast at your hotel, then start your journey towards Extremadura, arriving in Mérida for some free time to explore its remarkable archaeological complex, including the Roman Theatre and Amphitheatre-both UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Enjoy lunch at leisure before continuing along the “Autovía de la Plata” (Silver Route) towards Andalucía. Arrive in Seville for dinner and overnight stay at your hotel. (B, D)

DAY 4:                                 SEVILLE 

Morning city sightseeing tour, including María Luisa Park, Plaza de España, the exterior of the city’s stunning Cathedral and its bell tower, called Giralda and the typical neighbourhood of Santa Cruz with its streets, squares, and narrow alleys. Overnight Seville. (B)

DAY 5:                                 SEVILLE – CORDOBA
After breakfast, departure to Cordoba. Upon arrival we start our walking tour at Almodovar Gate through the Jewish Quarter and continue with a visit to the famous Mosque/Cathedral. Afternoon at leisure. Overnight Cordoba. (B, D)

DAY 6:                                 CORDOBA- RONDA – COSTA DEL SOL

After breakfast, depart to the Route of White Villages and Ronda. After some free time, continue to Torremolinos on the Costa del Sol where you have the afternoon at leisure. Overnight Torremolinos, Costa del Sol. (B, D)

DAY 7:                                 COSTA DEL SOL – GRANADA

After breakfast, depart to Granada. Visit to the spectacular group of monuments of the Alhambra and Generalife, former residence of the Moorish kings, with its magnificent fountains, gardens, and arches. Overnight Granada. (B, D)

*Note: If the Patronato of the Alhambra and Generalife do not grant tickets for participants to visit the Alhambra and Generalife, a tour of the city of Granada will be provided instead. Visit to the Palace of Carlos V, the Archaeological Museum, Church of Santa María de la Alhambra, Royal Chapel, and a walk through the city Alcaiceria (silk market) and the Cathedral Square.

DAY 8:                                 GRANADA – TOLEDO – MADRID
Breakfast and then departure towards the Imperial City of Toledo, full of history and monuments. Lunch and panoramic view from Mirador del Valle and walk through its old town. Continue to Madrid with a late afternoon arrival. Overnight in Madrid. (B, L)

DAY 9:                                 MADRID

Breakfast at your hotel. End of services. (B)
