DAY 1: BARCELONA – ZARAGOZA – MADRID
Depart Barcelona from the bus terminal at Catalonia Barcelona 505 Hotel (Carrer de Muntaner, 505) at 08:00am. The exact details will be on your voucher. Please be there no later than 07:45am unless otherwise stated on your voucher. Drive through Lerida and enjoy a short stop in Zaragoza with its 17th Century Basilica. Continue to Madrid for overnight.
DAY 2: MADRID – CORDOBA – SEVILLE After breakfast, depart Madrid by driving through La Mancha country to Cordoba and enjoy a sightseeing tour visiting the famous Mosque/Cathedral and Jewish Quarter. In the late afternoon proceed to Seville. Overnight Seville. (B, D)
DAY 3: SEVILLE Morning city sightseeing tour, including María Luisa Park, Plaza de España, the exterior of the city’s stunning Cathedral and its bell tower, called Giralda and the typical neighbourhood of Santa Cruz with its streets, squares, and narrow alleys. If you wish, you can optionally navigate the Guadalquivir River, during which you will enjoy a panoramic view of the Gold Tower and Expo 92 or visit to the Maestranza bullring. Overnight Seville. DAY 4: SEVILLE – GRANADA After breakfast, departure to Granada. Sightseeing tour visiting the impressive Alhambra, a world heritage site, with its beautiful gardens of the Generalife. Dinner and overnight in Granada. (B, D)
Note: If the Patronato of the Alhambra and Generalife do not grant tickets for participants to visit the Alhambra and Generalife, a tour of the city of Granada will be provided instead. Visit to the Palace of Carlos V, the Archaeological Museum, Church of Santa María de la Alhambra, Royal Chapel, and a walk through the city Alcaiceria (silk market) and the Cathedral Square.
DAY 5: GRANADA – TOLEDO – MADRID Following breakfast, depart towards the Imperial City of Toledo, full of history and monuments. After lunch, enjoy a panoramic view from Mirador del Valle and walk through its old town. Return to Madrid with a late afternoon arrival. End of our services upon arrival into Madrid city centre. No hotel drop off. You will need to make your own way to the hotel. (B, L)
