Day 1 LISBON – FATIMA
You will be picked up from your central Lisbon hotel or you may need to make your way to Marques de Pombal terminal for a 9am departure. Details will be on your voucher. Depart for the Sanctuary of our Lady of Fátima, centre of Christian faith and world pilgrimage. Visit the Basilica with the tombs of: Lúcia, Francisco and Jacinta; the Apparition Chapel, heart of the shrine. The afternoon is free to explore Fatima. Overnight Fatima. (L)
Day 2 FATIMA – BATALHA – NAZARE – OBIDOS – LISBON
After breakfast at the hotel, morning at leisure to explore Fátima. Depart for Batalha, where you can visit the wonderful church of Batalha Monastery (World Heritage by UNESCO). Continue to Nazaré, the most typical and colourful Portuguese fishing village, before driving to Óbidos, a small village surrounded by medieval walls, with its typical whitewashed houses and wrought iron balconies, its handcraft, and the famous Pousada do Castelo. In the evening, return to Lisbon. End of our services. (B)
