Itinerary

DAY 1: LISBON – FATIMA

Make your own way to Marques de Pombal terminal for a 9:00am departure (unless otherwise mentioned on your voucher). Depart for the Sanctuary of our Lady of Fátima, centre of Christian faith and world pilgrimage. Visit the Basilica with the tombs of: Lúcia, Francisco and Jacinta; the Apparition Chapel, heart of the shrine. The afternoon is free to explore Fatima. Overnight Fatima. (L)

DAY 2: FATIMA – BATALHA – NAZARE – OBIDOS – LISBON

After breakfast at the hotel, morning at leisure to explore Fátima. Depart for Batalha, where you can visit the wonderful church of Batalha Monastery (World Heritage by UNESCO). Then continue to Nazaré – the most picturesque and colourful fishing village in Portugal. If possible, we will go to Sitio, to have a panoramic view of the village and beaches. After this visit, continue towards Óbidos, a village with medieval walls and rustic white houses, where we will find Pousada do Castelo. At the end of the day, return to Lisbon. End of services. (B)
