Experience Andalucia from Lisbon to Madrid
Day 1 – Saturday: LISBON – CACERES – SEVILLE
Depart from the Lutecia Smart Design Hotel (Av. Frei Miguel Contreiras, No:52) at 07:30am (please be there no later than 07:15am), unless otherwise stated on your voucher. Travel to the border and continue to Caceres. Time at leisure to visit its Plaza Mayor and to walk through the old city and its famous, very well preserved and world heritage listed Medieval Quarter. Continue to Andalucía and arrive at Seville. Overnight Seville. (D)
Day 2 – Sunday: SEVILLE
Morning city sightseeing tour, including María Luisa Park, Plaza de España, the exterior of the city’s stunning Cathedral and its bell tower, called Giralda and the typical neighbourhood of Santa Cruz with its streets, squares, and narrow alleys. If you wish, you can optionally navigate the Guadalquivir River, during which you will enjoy a panoramic view of the Gold Tower and Expo 92 or visit to the Maestranza bullring. Overnight Seville. Day 3 – Monday: SEVILLE – CORDOBA
Departure to Cordoba. Upon arrival we start our walking tour at Almodovar Gate, through the Jewish Quarter and continue for a visit of the famous Mosque/Cathedral. Afternoon at leisure. Overnight Cordoba. (B, D)
Day 4 – Tuesday: CORDOBA – RONDA – COSTA DEL SOL
After breakfast, depart along the Route of the White Villages for Ronda. You will have some free time before continuing to Torremolinos on the Costa del Sol where you have the afternoon at leisure. Overnight Torremolinos, Costa del Sol. (B, D)
Day 5 – Wednesday: COSTA DEL SOL – GRANADA
Departure to Granada. Visit to the spectacular group of monuments of the Alhambra and Generalife, former residence of the Moorish kings, with its magnificent fountains, gardens, and arches. Overnight Granada. (B, D)
*Note: If the Patronato of the Alhambra and Generalife do not grant tickets for participants to visit the Alhambra and Generalife, a tour of the city of Granada will be provided instead. Visit to the Palace of Carlos V, the Archaeological Museum, Church of Santa María de la Alhambra, Royal Chapel, and a walk through the city Alcaiceria (silk market) and the Cathedral Square.
Day 6 – Thursday: GRANADA – VALENCIA
Depart Granada via Guadix, Baza and Puerto Lumbreras towards the Mediterranean coast and arrive in Valencia. Overnight Valencia. (B)

Day 7 – Friday: VALENCIA – BARCELONA
Following breakfast, enjoy some free time. At mid-morning depart Valencia for Barcelona. Overnight Barcelona. (B)
*Note, departures in 2024: Mar 30; Apr 6, 20; Aug 31; Sep 7 will stay overnight in the city of Sabadell instead of Barcelona.
*Note, departures in 2025: May 17; Aug 30; Sep 13, 20 and 2026: Jan 31 will stay overnight in the city of Sabadell instead of Barcelona.
*Note, for logistical reasons, the sightseeing tour of Barcelona may be performed in the afternoon upon arrival instead of the morning of day 8.
Day 8 – Saturday: BARCELONA
After breakfast enjoy a morning sightseeing tour of Barcelona visiting the Park of Montjuic with spectacular views, Olympic Ring, monument of Columbus and the old Gothic Quarter. Afternoon is at leisure. Overnight Barcelona. (B)
Day 9 – Sunday: BARCELONA – ZARAGOZA – MADRID
Drive through Lerida and enjoy a short stop in Zaragoza with its 17th Century Basilica. Continue to Madrid. End of our services upon arrival in Madrid city centre. No hotel drop off. You will need to make your own way to the hotel. (B)
