DAY 1: CATANIA
Arrival at Catania Airport and transfer to your hotel. Enjoy the rest of the day at leisure. Overnight in Catania.
DAY 2: CATANIA – SYRACUSE – NOTO – RAGUSA
After breakfast, depart for Syracuse to explore the Archaeological Park of Neapolis, once the most powerful Greek colony in Sicily. Continue to Ortigia to visit its charming old town, Piazza Duomo, and Cathedral. Proceed to Noto, the UNESCO-listed capital of Sicilian Baroque, known as the “stone garden” for its ornate palaces, churches, and artistic façades. Stroll through its elegant streets before continuing to Ragusa for overnight. (B, D)
DAY 3: RAGUSA – MODICA – PIAZZA ARMERINA – AGRIGENTO
After breakfast, visit Ragusa Ibla with its elegant churches and the Ibleo Garden. Continue to Modica to admire its UNESCO-listed Baroque treasures and enjoy a tasting of local specialties. Travel on to Piazza Armerina to explore the splendid Villa Romana del Casale, a late imperial UNESCO site. Conclude the day with a transfer to your hotel in Agrigento for overnight. (B, L, D)
DAY 4: AGRIGENTO – MARSALA – SALINE – PALERMO
After breakfast, visit the Valley of the Temples, a UNESCO World Heritage Site featuring the temples of Juno, Concordia, and Hercules. Continue to Marsala, rich in Phoenician, Arab, and Norman heritage, and enjoy a tasting of its local wine. Travel along the Via del Sale to the Stagnone Lagoon and salt pans, an important nature reserve and one of the world’s oldest salt works. Arrive in Palermo in the evening for overnight. (B, L)
DAY 5: PALERMO – MONREALE – PALERMO
After breakfast, visit Monreale to admire its magnificent Arab-Norman Cathedral and cloister. Return to Palermo to explore its Arab-Norman heritage, including the Cathedral, the Byzantine Church of the Martorana, and the Palatine Chapel, a prime example of cultural and religious coexistence. Enjoy a tasting at a local bakery during the visit. Overnight in Palermo. (B, L)
DAY 6: PALERMO – FAVIGNANA (AEGADIAN ISLANDS)
After breakfast, private transfer to the port of Trapani. Depart by hydrofoil to Favignana, the largest island of the Aegadian Islands. Free time in the afternoon. Overnight in Favignana. (B, D)
DAY 7: FAVIGNANA (BOAT EXCURSION – CALA ROSSA, CALA AZZURRA, CALA ROTONDA)
In the morning, depart from Favignana for a boat tour around the island, learning about the Tonnara and the Florio family. Visit the island’s most beautiful coves, including Cala Rossa, Bue Marino, Cala Azzurra, and Lido Burrone, with opportunities for swimming and snorkeling. Enjoy a typical lunch aboard the boat near Marasolo/Preveto and continue exploring the southern coves. Return to Favignana in the afternoon, stopping at Cala Rotonda for coffee and pastries, and a final swim at Cala del Pozzo. Overnight in Favignana. (B, L, D)
DAY 8: FAVIGNANA
After breakfast, enjoy a day at leisure exploring the charms of Favignana. Wander its town squares and admire the traditional Mediterranean architecture or stroll along the picturesque waterfront with its fishing boats and nets. Overnight in Favignana. (B, D)
DAY 9: FAVIGNANA – TRAPANI
Enjoy a final free morning in Favignana before returning to Trapani by early afternoon. Spend the afternoon exploring Trapani’s charming historic centre at your leisure. Overnight in Trapani. (B, D)
DAY 10: TRAPANI
After breakfast, check out of hotel. End of services. (B)
