DAY 1:                                   PALERMO 

Upon arrival at Palermo Airport, transfer to your hotel in charming Palermo and enjoy a day at leisure. Overnight in Palermo. 

DAY 2:                                   PALERMO – MONREALE – PALERMO  

After breakfast, travel to Monreale to visit its magnificent Arab-Norman Cathedral and beautiful Benedictine Cloister. Return to Palermo for a guided tour of the city’s remarkable Arab-Norman heritage, including the Cathedral, the Byzantine Church of the Martorana, and the Palatine Chapel-one of Sicily’s finest examples of the harmonious coexistence of different cultures and religions. Along the visit enjoy a food stop. Overnight in Palermo. (B, L)

DAY 3:                                   PALERMO – CELAFU – CATANIA 

Breakfast in the hotel and departure to Cefalù, a beautiful medieval maritime village with its Norman Cathedral. Time at leisure to visit the famous Mandralisca Museum. Continue to Catania for a guided walk through its UNESCO World Heritage-listed historic centre. Discover elegant Baroque architecture as you stroll past the historic fish market to Piazza del Duomo, home to the city’s striking Cathedral and the iconic lava stone Elephant Fountain. Complete your visit with a taste of the local specialty-refreshing granita served with a traditional brioche. Overnight in Catania. (B, L)

DAY 4:                                   CATANIA – ETNA – TAORMINA – CATANIA 

After breakfast, enjoy a brief visit to Catania’s historic fish market before travelling to Mount Etna, Europe’s highest active volcano and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Explore the spectacular landscapes of Etna Regional Park as you ascend to Rifugio Sapienza and the Silvestri Craters, where panoramic views extend across the volcanic landscape to the Aeolian Islands and the coast of Calabria. Continue to a local beekeeping farm to learn about honey production and sample regional honey and other local specialties. This afternoon, visit the picturesque town of Taormina to explore the renowned Greco-Roman Theatre overlooking the Bay of Naxos before enjoying scenic views along the spectacular Riviera dei Ciclopi. Return to Catania for your overnight stay. (B, L)

DAY 5:                                   CATANIA 

Breakfast in the hotel and day at leisure to enjoy Catania’s city centre. Overnight Catania. (B) 

DAY 6:                                   CATANIA – SIRACUSA – NOTO – RAGUSA 

After breakfast, depart for Syracuse, one of the most important cities of the ancient Greek world. Explore the impressive Archaeological Park of Neapolis, home to remarkable Greek and Roman ruins, before continuing to the historic island of Ortigia, where you’ll visit the beautiful Piazza Duomo and magnificent Cathedral. Continue to Noto, and wonder through its elegant streets lined with honey-coloured palaces, churches, and ornate façades. Later, travel to Ragusa, for dinner and an overnight stay. (B, D)

DAY 7:                                   RAGUSA – MODICA – PIAZZA ARMERINA – AGRIGENTO 

Departures in 2026: After breakfast, explore Ragusa Ibla with its charming churches and the Ibleo Garden. Continue to Modica to admire its Baroque treasures, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and enjoy a tasting of local specialties. Proceed to Piazza Armerina to visit the Villa Romana del Casale, a late imperial UNESCO site, before transferring to Agrigento for overnight. (B, L, D)

Departures in 2027: After breakfast, travel to the UNESCO-listed town of Modica, celebrated for its spectacular Baroque architecture and world-famous chocolate. Wander through its charming historic centre before visiting a traditional chocolate workshop to sample the region’s distinctive artisanal chocolate. Continue to Piazza Armerina for lunch before visiting the magnificent Villa Romana del Casale, renowned for its extraordinary collection of beautifully preserved Roman mosaics. Later, travel to Agrigento for dinner and an overnight stay. (B, L, D)

DAY 8:                                   AGRIGENTO – MARSALA – SALINE – PALERMO 

This morning, visit the spectacular Valley of the Temples, one of Sicily’s most important archaeological treasures and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Admire the remarkably preserved Temples of Juno, Concordia, and Hercules before continuing west to Marsala, a historic town shaped by Phoenician, Arab, and Norman influences. Enjoy a tasting of the region’s celebrated wines accompanied by local specialties before travelling along the scenic Via del Sale, where the historic salt pans and the Stagnone Lagoon Nature Reserve create one of Sicily’s most iconic landscapes. Arrive in Palermo in the evening for an overnight stay. (B, L)

DAY 9:                                   PALERMO – ERICE – SEGESTA – PALERMO 

After breakfast, journey to the medieval hilltop town of Erice, perched high above the Sicilian coastline. Explore its cobbled streets, ancient churches and the impressive Castle of Venus while taking in breathtaking panoramic views. In the afternoon, continue to Segesta to visit its remarkably preserved Doric Temple and the ancient Greek Theatre, spectacularly positioned on a hillside overlooking the surrounding countryside. Return to Palermo for an overnight stay. (B)

DAY 10:                                 PALERMO 

Breakfast in the hotel and check-out. End of services. (B)
