DAY 1:                BOLOGNA

Upon arrival at Bologna airport, transfer to your tour hotel. Rest of the day is at leisure. Overnight in Bologna.

DAY 2:                BOLOGNA – MARANELLO – BOLOGNA

Depart for Maranello for an exclusive private guided tour of the iconic Ferrari Museum, where you’ll delve into the history, innovation and passion behind the legendary Prancing Horse while admiring its most celebrated models. Continue into the heart of Emilia-Romagna’s culinary heritage with a visit to a historic acetaia. Discover the centuries-old craft of producing Traditional Balsamic Vinegar of Modena, enjoy a refined tasting, and savour a typical countryside lunch featuring local specialties. Return to Bologna in the afternoon. Overnight in Bologna. (B)

DAY 3:                BOLOGNA – PARMA – REGGIO EMILIA OR MODENA – PARMA – BOLOGNA

Breakfast at the hotel. At approximately 7:30am, meet your driver and transfer to Parma to meet your guide. Visit an authentic Parmigiano-Reggiano PDO producer and discover the centuries-old process behind the “King of Cheeses,” including the production rooms, salt pools and impressive aging warehouses. Tasting included. Continue with visits to a family-run producer of Traditional Balsamic Vinegar PDO and a Prosciutto di Parma PDO ham factory, learning why this renowned ham is unique to the Parma hills. Enjoy a farm-to-table lunch featuring local specialties, including Parmigiano, Prosciutto, tortelli di Parma, homemade desserts and local wines. After lunch, stop for photos at the medieval village of Torrechiara and its romantic castle. Return to Parma for a private 2-hour walking tour (entrances not included), then transfer back to Bologna.
