DAY 1: ROME
Upon arrival at Rome Airport, you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Make the most of your one-day Hop-on Hop-off bus ticket, offering a unique way to discover Rome’s most iconic landmarks. With eight convenient stops along the route and audio commentary available in 12 languages, you can explore at your own pace. In the evening, enjoy some free time before returning to your hotel. Overnight in Rome.
DAY 2: ROME – ASSISI – SIENA – FLORENCE
Depart at 7:15 am by a deluxe coach. You will arrive in Assisi, ready to explore, at your own leisure, this tiny town surrounded by walls, built in the Middle Ages. Take your time to visit the basilica of St. Francis, where you will see masterpieces by Giotto and Cimabue. Continue to Siena, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, famous for the Palio, the historical horse race around the shell-shaped town square: Piazza del Campo. Next, continue to Florence for dinner and overnight. (B, L*, D*)

DAY 3: FLORENCE
Explore Florence, cradle of the Renaissance. Visit the Duomo, Brunelleschi’s Dome, Giotto’s Bell Tower, and Baptistery. See Piazza della Signoria, Palazzo Vecchio, and Santa Croce Basilica. Enjoy lunch in a traditional Tuscan restaurant. After is at your leisure to explore the city sights. Overnight in Florence. (B, L)
DAY 4: FLORENCE – BOLOGNA – VENICE
Travel to Bologna, a city rich in culture and culinary excellence. Walk from Piazza Malpighi to Piazza Maggiore, admiring San Petronio Basilica and the Palazzo del Podestà. Delight in a light local lunch, savouring regional specialties. Stroll the medieval streets, arcades, and markets. In the afternoon, continue to Venice. Overnight in Venice (Mestre). (B, L)
DAY 5: VENICE
Transfer to Piazza San Marco and discover Venice’s highlights with a guided tour. Visit Doge’s Palace (outside) and cross the Bridge of Sighs. Afterward, enjoy a glass of spritz or prosecco with cicchetti, traditional Venetian snacks. Relax and soak in the atmosphere. Spend the afternoon exploring the city’s canals, artisan shops, or quiet corners on your own. Return to your hotel. Overnight in Venice (Mestre). (B)
DAY 6: VENICE – MONTEPULCIANO – ROME
After breakfast, travel to Montepulciano, in the heart of Tuscany. Known for its medieval charm and panoramic views, the town is a perfect mix of history and beauty. Enjoy a traditional Tuscan lunch in a local restaurant. Take some time to stroll through the historic centre before rejoining your group. In the late afternoon, head to Rome where the escorted tour ends. Overnight stay. Depart Venice and travel through Tuscany to Montepulciano, a hilltop town known for “Vino Nobile” and stunning views. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant, paired with a glass of fine Tuscan wine. After lunch, take some free time before heading back to Rome. Overnight in Rome. (B, L)
DAY 7: ROME
Begin your morning with an included “Skip the Line” tour of the Vatican Museums, Sistine Chapel, and St. Peter’s Square. Discover the Galleries of Tapestries and Maps, Raphael’s Rooms, and Michelangelo’s masterpiece in the Sistine Chapel. The visit ends in St. Peter’s Square, where you can view the Basilica’s majestic exterior. Spend the rest of the day at your own pace or join an optional tour. Overnight in Rome. (B)
DAY 8: ROME – POMPEII – SORRENTO
After breakfast, meet your tour leader and depart by coach at 7:00 a.m. for Pompeii, traveling through the regions of Lazio and Campania. Stop for lunch to enjoy authentic Neapolitan pizza before exploring the world-famous archaeological site of Pompeii. With Skip-the-Line access and a guided tour, discover the homes, shops, frescoes, and mosaics of this ancient Roman city, preserved under the ash of Mount Vesuvius since 79 AD. Continue along the scenic Sorrentine Coast to reach Sorrento, where dinner will be served at the hotel (jacket required for men). Overnight in Sorrento. (B, L, D)
DAY 9: SORRENTO – CAPRI – SORRENTO
After breakfast, depart on an excursion to the island of Capri: one of the Mediterranean’s most glamorous islands. Weather permitting, visit the enchanting Blue Grotto by rowboat. Afterward, enjoy free time for lunch (not included) and to explore the island on your own. Return to Sorrento in the afternoon. Dinner and overnight stay in Sorrento. (B, D)
DAY 10: SORRENTO – ROME
Breakfast at your hotel. Time at leisure to possibly taste some Limoncello. In the afternoon, at around 4:00 pm, departure back to Rome. Overnight Rome. (B)
DAY 11: ROME
After breakfast, transfer to Rome airport*. End of our services. (B)
