Day 2 – Sunday: PORT EMPEDOCLE (AT SEA)
Awakening in the serene embrace of Port Empedocle, a coastal gem on Sicily’s southern shore, guests are greeted by its tranquil charm and storied maritime legacy. Opt for our exclusive optional tour to Agrigento, home to the UNESCO-listed Temple Valley, where ancient Greek ruins whisper tales of antiquity. With the afternoon yours to enjoy at leisure, seize the opportunity to explore or simply unwind. Before indulging in tonight’s onboard dinner, join our beloved Cocktail Demonstration led by our skilled Bar Manager. Discover the secrets behind crafting two signature cocktails, complete with recipes to impress your loved ones back home. As dusk descends, bid farewell to Port Empedocle, setting course for our next enchanting stop: the charming town of Trapani. Day 3 – Monday: TRAPANI (AT PORT)
At 7am, our vessel gracefully docks at the idyllic coastal enclave of Trapani, steeped in centuries of maritime history. Its charming old town and lively harbor offer a glimpse into its rich seafaring legacy. Navigate the labyrinthine cobblestone streets, adorned with pastel-hued facades, and uncover hidden gems like quaint piazzas and ornate churches. Alternatively, embark on our optional tour to the impeccably preserved medieval town of Erice. Lunch will be at your leisure. Day 4 – Tuesday: LIPARI – PALERMO (AT PORT)
The morning is free to spend at your own leisure in Trapani. Lunch on your own arrangements. At around 1:30pm, our boat leaves Trapani for our next destination, the vibrant capital of Sicily, Palermo. The afternoon is free to enjoy at your leisure before joining our Wine Tasting Experience during which you will enjoy a beautiful selection of Italian and Greek wines, preparing your palate for our 4-course served dinner on board. The boat will reach Palermo at around 8pm so you can continue your evening with an aperitivo at a trendy bar sipping on a refreshing Aperol spritz or sampling local wines paired with a selection of savory snacks. Day 5 – Wednesday: PALERMO (AT SEA)
Palermo, a captivating tapestry of ancient legacies and modern vitality, beckons with its rich cultural heritage and vibrant energy. From Phoenician to Roman, Arab to Norman, the city’s streets echo with centuries-old influences, weaving a dynamic urban mosaic. Wander through the historic centre, where narrow alleys lead to Baroque wonders and majestic palaces, interspersed with lively markets and bustling piazzas.
