Day 1 PALERMO
Upon arrival at Palermo airport, transfer to your hotel. Rest of the day at your own leisure. Overnight in Palermo.
Day 2 PALERMO – MONREALE OR CEFALU – PALERMO
After breakfast, visit Palermo, Sicily’s capital, including the Norman Palace and Palatina Chapel, the Cathedral, Quattro Canti, Pretoria Square, Martorana Church, and the Massimo Opera House. In the afternoon, choose from two options. Please let us know your preference at the time of booking.
Return to the hotel. The rest of the day at your leisure. Overnight in Palermo. (B)
Day 3 PALERMO – AGRIGENTO (VALLE DEI TEMPLI)
After breakfast, enjoy a private transfer to Agrigento. Explore the Valley of the Temples, a vast sacred site featuring seven monumental Doric temples from the 6th and 5th centuries BC, recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The rest of the day is yours to relax. Overnight in Agrigento. (B)
Day 4 AGRIGENTO – SIRACUSA – TAORMINA
After breakfast, depart for a visit to Syracuse, exploring the Neapolis Archaeological Park, including the Greek Theatre, Altar of Hieron II, and the “Ear of Dionysius” Cave. Continue to Ortigia Island, the city’s oldest district, where Greek heritage blends with Baroque charm. Later, transfer to Taormina for an overnight stay. (B)
Day 5 TAORMINA
After breakfast, enjoy a walking tour of Taormina, perched on Mount Tauro and offering breathtaking views of the Ionian coast. Stroll along Corso Umberto from Porta Messina to Porta Catania, visiting landmarks like the Greek-Roman Theatre, Sicily’s second-largest classical theatre, and Palazzo Corvaja. The rest of the day is yours to relax. Overnight in Taormina. (B)
Day 6 TAORMINA – ETNA – TAORMINA
After breakfast, embark on a half-day excursion (approx. 5 hours) to Mount Etna, Sicily’s highest peak and Europe’s largest active volcano. Stop in Zafferana Etnea for a panoramic view of the Ionian coast and a complimentary honey tasting. Visit the Silvestri Craters (1,980m) for a walk. Return to Taormina and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure. Overnight in Taormina. (B)
Day 7 TAORMINA – CATANIA
After breakfast, departure transfer to Catania Airport. End of our services. (B)
