Charming Costiera by Rail | Partially Guided Tour | 6 Days

DAY 1:                                      ROME – NAPLES 

Meet the supplier representative at Termini Station (Via Marsala 29 in front of the pharmacy) at approximately 08:30am and take the high-speed train to Naples. Upon arrival in Naples, our expert local assistant will meet you at Naples train station in front of the fountain inside the station (on the left with the back to the platforms), direct transfer to the hotel. Day at disposal to explore the city. Overnight in Naples. 

DAY 2:                                      NAPLES – POMPEII – SORRENTO 

Breakfast at hotel and check-out. Pick-up from hotel at approximately 10:00am and proceed to Pompeii for a guided tour of the archaeological excavations. This ancient Roman city was destroyed when Vesuvius erupted in 79 AD and buried it, preserving it under a sea of volcanic ash for nearly 1700 years. At the end of the visit transfer to Sorrento*. Overnight in Sorrento.  (B) 

*For departures in 2025, a local assistant will welcome you at your hotel during the check-in and will provide all the information for your Capri excursions and transfers. 

DAY 3:                                      SORRENTO – CAPRI – SORRENTO 

After breakfast, transfer to Sorrento port and depart for Capri by traditional Gozzo Sorrentino. Enjoy a boat trip around the island and the possibility to swim into its crystal-clear waters or visit the Blue Grotto (optional entrance, weather permitting). Once landed on the island, you will continue by minibus to discover it and reach the legendary Piazzetta, heart of the island. Enjoy some free time to explore Capri at your own pace. Return to the port to head back to Sorrento for your overnight stay. (B) 

DAY 4:                                      SORRENTO – POSITANO – AMALFI 

Breakfast at your and check out. At approximately 11:00am, transfer from Sorrento to Amalfi with 2 hours stop in Positano with time at leisure to discover the pearl of the Amalfi coast. Proceed to Amalfi, a town rich in history that gives its name to the entire coastline. Overnight in Amalfi. (B) 

DAY 5:                                      AMALFI COAST 

Breakfast at the hotel. Day at leisure for exploring the beauties of the area. Overnight in Amalfi. (B) 

DAY 6:                                      AMALFI – NAPLES – ROME 

Breakfast in the hotel and check out. Morning at leisure in Amalfi. Direct transfer from Amalfi to Naples at around 3:30pm where a local assistant at Naples train station will help you to board the high-speed train to Rome. Arrival at Termini Station scheduled for around 7:00pm. End of our services. (B)

• Accommodation is subject to change without notice. Every effort is made to avoid hotel changes but should a mid-tour hotel change become necessary after this list has been printed, contact details of the new hotel will be supplied to you by your Tour Director.
• Hotel rooms may not be available for check-in before 2:00 p.m.
• Hotel taxes, service charges and tips for baggage handling are not included in the tour price.
• Tour can be a combination of regular tours; therefore, coach changes may be required. The same people may not be travelling throughout the tour.
• A government tourist tax may need to be paid locally upon arrival at your hotels.
• Only 1 suitcase (any size) and 1 handbag per person is allowed.
• The pick-up and drop-off times will be subject to confirmation by the local assistant.
• Tour of Capri: A landing fee of €10 per person is not included and is required to be paid on the spot. In case of bad weather, the excursion could be replaced with a guided regular group tour of Capri by ferry. In this case, the visit of the island is guaranteed but the itinerary and the inclusions may undergo small variations.
