Day 01: Monday – Luxor – Esna – El HegzTo board the dahabiya, located within the Luxor Governorate, travel approximately an hour by car from Luxor to Esna.Visit the Temple of Esna and restored caravanserai and market, then check in to the dahabiya and sail to El Hegz Village for a unique cultural experience.Lunch and dinner are on board the dahabiya.
Day 02: Tuesday – El Hegz – El Kab – Nekheb – EdfuBreakfast on board, sailing to El Kab.Transfer to see the massive walls of the ancient town of Nekheb and explore the New Kingdom tombs.Sail to Edfu. Ride to visit the Temple of Horus.Sailing with dinner and free time as you overnight on the dahabiya.
Day 03: Wednesday – Edfu – Bisaw Island – El SelselaAfter breakfast, step off at Bisaw Island for a morning stroll through the village.Observe traditional fishing techniques and join a local family for a bread-making session – a genuine connection with life along the Nile.
Following lunch, sail to El Silsela Quarry, the ancient source of sandstone for Egypt’s grand temples. Visit the Speos of Horemheb, adorned with rock-cut shrines and carved stelae. As the sun sets, indulge in a barbecue dinner under the moonlight on the riverbank.
Day 04: Thursday – Kom Ombo – Daraw Market – Nubian Village – AswanSail to Kom Ombo to visit the unique double temple dedicated to Sobek and Horus. Discover the fascinating Crocodile Museum, showcasing mummified crocodiles and ancient artifacts.
Continue to Daraw Market, where you’ll experience the bustling atmosphere of a traditional camel market. Wander through stalls of spices, textiles, and local produce. In the afternoon, visit a Nubian Village to learn about the distinctive culture and hospitality of Nubian communities.
Farewell dinner onboard as we sail towards Aswan.
Day 05: Friday – AswanBreakfast on board and check out. End of services.
