Experience Cairo at leisure
On arrival into Cairo airport, you will be met and transferred to your hotel.
Full day tour of Cairo including visits to the famous Egyptian Museum, the Pyramids at Giza and the Sphinx.
Morning tour of the Citadel of Salah El Din with the Mohamed Ali Mosque and Khan El Khalili Bazaar. In the afternoon, visit the hanging church built atop Roman walls, then continue to the Church of St Sergius with ties to the Holy Family. Proceed to Ben Ezra Synagogue where Moses is believed to have been found by thePharaoh’s daughter.
Morning transfer to Alexandria to visit the Alexandria Library or National Museum. See the Catacombs where three tiers of burial shafts were carved in the rock 100 feet below the ground. Visit Pompey’s Pillar and Amphitheatre. Return to Cairo.
Half day tour to Memphis to see the statue of Ramses II. Continue to the Step Pyramid of Sakkara. At sunset, experience a sound and light show telling the story of Egypt’s history at the monuments of Giza.
Transfer to Cairo airport. End of services.
