DAY 1: ZAGREB
After arrival, you will be transferred from Zagreb airport to your tour hotel. Rest of the day is at leisure. Meet your fellow travellers tonight at a welcome reception. Overnight Zagreb.
DAY 2: ZAGREB
This morning, enjoy a city tour featuring the historic Upper Town, St. Mark’s Church, St. Catherine’s Church, the Cathedral, Parliament, and Government Palace. The rest of the day is at leisure to explore the winding streets of the old town or take an optional excursion to see the countryside. (B)
DAY 3: ZAGREB – LJUBLJANA – BLED
After breakfast head towards Ljubljana, the capital of Slovenia. See the most significant sights of the old city centre on a walking tour. Highlights include the picturesque open-air Central Market, the Three Bridges, Baroque Town Hall, and Robba’s Fountain. Then, continue to Bled. (B, D)
DAY 4: BLED
An Alpine Lake surrounded by high peaks, Bled was “discovered” by travellers in the middle of the 19th century. Since then, a small town of hotels, villas, and restaurants has developed around the lake, turning Bled into a lively, all-seasons resort. A sightseeing tour features the charming town and the lakeshore, and visits imposing Bled Castle, perched on a cliff high above the lake. The rest of the day is at leisure. Perhaps join an optional excursion visiting the small island in the middle of the lake, browse through the shops and boutiques, or simply relax and enjoy the enchanting scenery. (B)
DAY 5: BLED – POSTOJNA – OPATIJA – PLITVICE
Journey continues to Postojna, home to one of the largest caves in Europe. Tour this fantastic subterranean world by miniature electric train. Afterward, continue to the coast with a stop in Opatija. Enjoy a walking tour of this fashionable resort of the 19th century, dotted with Habsburg era villas. After some free time, continue towards Plitvice. (B, D)
DAY 6: PLITVICE – SPLIT
After breakfast, have your camera ready as you take a walking tour around the lower lakes. Enjoy the breath-taking scenery of this natural wonder of sixteen terraced lakes surrounded by thickly wooded mountains and lush vegetation. After the tour, head to Split. Overnight in Split. (B, D)
DAY 7: SPLIT
In the morning, enjoy a sightseeing tour featuring the historic inner city, built around the Roman Emperor Diocletian’s Palace, a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage site. Then see the remnants of Split’s Roman heritage, its Renaissance and Gothic structures, Jupiter’s Temple, the Peristyle, and the Cathedral. The rest of the day at leisure, to stroll through the beautiful streets of Split, or enjoy at the beach. (B)
DAY 8: SPLIT – TROGIR
After breakfast, you will be transferred to the Trogir port. Embarkation starts at 14:00h. Get settled in your cabin before attending a Welcome Reception followed by dinner. (B, D)
DAY 9: TROGIR – SPLIT – MILNA
In the morning, we will head towards Split where you will join a guided tour of Split with and visit the seafront promenade and Roman Emperor Diocletian’s Palace. The historical centre of the city is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site. You will see the remnants of Split’s Roman heritage, its Renaissance and Gothic structures, Jupiter’s Temple, the Peristyle, and the Cathedral. After visiting Split we head towards Milna on the Island of Brač with a swim stop, weather permitting, in one of pristine bays, time to relax and lunch on board. After lunch disembark in Milna and take a ride with us to the Olive Oil Museum where we will share with you the story of this island’s traditions and history and tasting of traditional homemade olive oil. Overnight in the town of Milna. (B, L)
DAY 10: MILNA – VIS
Leaving Milna and Brač Island in the morning set sail to Vis. Cruise towards the island of Vis, once a strategic naval Yugoslav base and restricted to the public. Due to this isolation, Vis has a special charm – “the Mediterranean as it once was” making it interesting to visit. Since the independence of Croatia, the island began opening slowly to the outside world. Some of Europe’s largest and greatest naval battles had happened in the waters of Vis. Vis Island holds many historic secrets and we will explore Vis history by military Land Rover Defenders. Overnight in one of the harbors on the island of Vis. (B, L)
DAY 11: VIS – BISEVO – HVAR
Leaving Vis in the morning and sail towards Biševo island to visit the Blue Cave, a magnificent natural phenomenon on the islet Biševo just in front of the town of Komiža. The possibility of our visit will depend on weather conditions; however, you will be notified of this on time. Afterwards continue to the island of Hvar, take a swim break and continue sailing through lunch. Upon arrival in the afternoon, disembark and join a guided walking tour of Hvar Town where you will see many historical sights of the town, such as St Stephen’s Square and Cathedral, the Arsenal with the theatre built on its first floor, the first municipal theatre in Europe. Above Hvar Town is the impressive fortress Fortica offering magnificent views over the bay and Pakleni islands. Overnight in Hvar or Stari Grad. (B, L)
DAY 12: HVAR – KORCULA
Early in the morning we set sail for the island of Korčula, with swimming stop, if weather permits, in one of pristine bays, time to relax and lunch on board. Continue towards Korčula, the most preserved medieval town, thought to be the birthplace of the famous explorer Marco Polo. We will spend the night here. Take a walking tour of Korčula which takes you through its narrow, cobbled streets full of history. Evening is free to explore the town on your own. (B, L)
DAY 13: KORCULA – MLJET – SLANO
In the morning head further south to the Island of Mljet. Join the cruise manager for a stroll to the famous salt lakes in the Mljet National Park. Alternatively, you can rent bicycles, scooters, or kayaks to explore the National Park or island on your own. Lunch on board and departure for a small village called Slano on the mainland. Slano is a peaceful fishermen’s village, and the starting point to Ston, situated on Pelješac peninsula, fortified small village famous for its oysters. Pelješac peninsula is known as one of the best wine-producing regions in Croatia. After exploring the town, we leave to a small nearby village to enjoy the authentic local oyster tasting. Tonight, enjoy Captain’s dinner and overnight in Slano. (B, L, D)
DAY 14: SLANO – DUBROVNIK
Early morning cruise to Elaphiti Islands with swim stop on one of the secluded bays. Continue sail to Dubrovnik, and, before we moor at port, we cruise alongside the old city walls. After docking, join a guided tour at the historical centre of Dubrovnik, walk through Stradun – both a street and a square, the most famous place inside the town walls, enlisted as UNESCO’s World Heritage site. Your guide will show you the most interesting sights of the Old Town and visit the Franciscan Monastery with its Pharmacy. After city tour, you will be on your own to explore the city, visit City Walls, the Franciscan Monastery with Europe’s second oldest pharmacy, the Rector’s Palace, and the Cathedral, or take a boat ride to Lokrum island or take the cable car to the top of the Mount Srđ. Overnight in Dubrovnik. (B, L)
DAY 15: DUBROVNIK
After breakfast, disembark your vessel by 09:00am. Transfer to Dubrovnik airport. End of our services. (B)
