Itinerary

DAY 1:                   MESTRE

Upon arrival into Venice Marco Polo airport, you will be transferred to tour hotel in Mestre.

DAY 2 (2024 BOOKINGS):                   MESTRE – VENICE – BLED / BOHINJ

Meet with tour leader at the hotel reception from 09.00 till 09.30 AM. Departure towards Venice followed by sightseeing of this unique floating city. Enjoy a walking tour with an English-speaking guide before returning to the mainland and continuing towards Slovenia. Dinner and overnight in Bled or Bohinj Lake area. (B, D)

DAY 2 (2025 BOOKINGS):                   MESTRE – VENICE – BLED / BOHINJ

Meet your dedicated tour leader at the hotel reception between 9:00 and 9:30 AM. Depart towards Venice for an enchanting sightseeing tour of this unique floating city. Enjoy a guided walking tour with an English-speaking guide, followed by a delightful lunch. Continue towards the picturesque Bled, Slovenia. Overnight in the serene Bled or Bohinj Lake area. (B, L)

DAY 3:                   BLED / BOHINJ

Enjoy a relaxing tour of the stunning glacier Lake Bled, one of Slovenia’s most popular destinations for its picturesque settings. After a serene Bled boat ride, enjoy leisure time on the island. Afterwards visit the historic Bled Castle to admire the breath-taking views of the city, lake, and surrounding mountains. On a clear day, you can see Slovenia’s highest peak, Mount Triglav. Our final stop of the day is the tranquil Lake Bohinj, a well-kept secret brimming with photo opportunities. Overnight in the Bled or Bohinj Lake area. (B)

DAY 4:                   BLED / BOHINJ – KLAGENFURT – WÖRTH LAKE – BLED / BOHINJ

Today, visit the neighbour country of Austria, and enjoy plenty of views of the Alps, impressive at any time of the year. In the historic county of Carinthia, enjoy a panoramic tour of popular vacation spot, the 20 km long Lake Wörth. We continue to the charming Klagenfurt, University town with the beautiful Lindworm fountain dominating the old city square, the Altplatz. After the visit, lunch in Klagenfurt area. Return to Bled or Bohinj Lake area for overnight. (B, L)

DAY 5 (2024 BOOKINGS):                   BLED / BOHINJ – POSTOJNA – ROVINJ

Today we continue our trip towards Croatia and stop at the Postojna Caves. One of the largest underground cave systems in Europe hides wondrous geological creations and is home of the olm. Next destination, Renaissance Predjama Castle situated high on a cliff, tells the 700 years old story of its predecessors and Postojna. Arrival to the enchanting coastal town of Rovinj in the late afternoon. Overnight in Rovinj. (B, D)

DAY 5 (2025 BOOKINGS):                   BLED / BOHINJ – LJUBLJANA – POSTOJNA – ROVINJ / VRSAR

Before heading to Croatia, visit the enchanting capital of Slovenia, Ljubljana, for a captivating walking tour. Next, explore the magnificent Postojna Cave, one of the largest underground cave systems in Europe, renowned for its wondrous geological formations and home to the mysterious olm. In the late afternoon, arrive on the coast of Croatia’s largest peninsula, Istria. Enjoy dinner and overnight in Rovinj or Vrsar. (B, D)

DAY 6 (2024 BOOKINGS):                  ROVINJ – PULA – ROVINJ

Our day will start with sightseeing of the most precious jewels of Istrian Coast. A walk-through labyrinth of cobbled streets will lead you through some of the most picturesque streets in Istria revealing the rich history of this stunning peninsula. Continue towards inner Istria for a sample of one of the Istrian tastiest treasures, the truffle. The rest of the day offers a unique sensory experience – olive oil tasting, rich in green scent and flavour of various sorts of extra virgin olive at one of the most renowned local producers. Afterward, visit one of the best-preserved amphitheatres in the world, the jewel of Pula, a 3000-year-old city, administrative centre of Istria. Overnight in Rovinj. (B)

DAY 6 (2025 BOOKINGS): ROVINJ / VRSAR – PULA – ROVINJ / VRSAR

Start the day with sightseeing of Rovinj, one of the most precious jewels of the Istrian Coast. Stroll through the labyrinthine cobbled streets, revealing the rich history and picturesque views of this stunning peninsula. Head towards inner Istria to sample one of its tastiest treasures, the truffle. Experience a unique sensory delight with an olive oil tasting session, savouring the green scent and flavours of various extra virgin olive oils at a renowned local producer. Visit the well-preserved amphitheatre in Pula, a jewel of the 3000-year-old city. Overnight in Rovinj or Vrsar. (B)

DAY 7 (2024 BOOKINGS):                   ROVINJ – OPATIJA – LAKE BAJER – PLITVICE

Travelling from Croatia’s biggest peninsula, we drive through Opatija. You will have time at leisure to enjoy this wonderful little town full of magnificent villas and old hotels, once a famous winter resort of Austrian elites. Take a stroll through Lungomare promenade, visit Angiolina Park, or simply enjoy a coffee break at Wagner’s terrace. After, drive though Gorski Kotar Region, and arrive to a picturesque little place, Fuzine, to explore the Vrelo Cave. Enjoy a traditional, homemade lunch at the heart-warming restaurant Bitoraj before continuing to Plitvice Lakes. Overnight in the Plitvice area. (B, L, D)


DAY 7 (2025 BOOKINGS):                    ROVINJ / VRSAR – OPATIJA – FUZINE (LAKE BAJER) – PLITVICE

Travel from Croatia’s biggest peninsula through the delightful town of Opatija, where you can enjoy leisure time exploring magnificent villas, old hotels, and the scenic Lungomare promenade. Visit Angiolina Park or enjoy a coffee at Wagner’s terrace. Continue through the lush Gorski Kotar Region to the picturesque town of Fužine and explore the Vrelo Cave. Relish a heart-warming lunch at the traditional restaurant Bitoraj, before continuing to the water wonderland of Plitvice Lakes. Dinner and overnight in the Plitvice Lakes area. (B, L, D)

DAY 8:                   PLITVICE – SPLIT

After breakfast, let yourself be carried away by the fascinating labyrinth of evergreen woods and lakes interconnected with stunning waterfalls. The UNESCO protected and oldest Croatian national park proudly carries the title of one of world’s most impressive national parks. Our journey continues towards Split for a short evening walk through the UNESCO World Heritage site, the largest city on the Adriatic coast. Explore the Diocletian’s Palace, built by the Roman emperor Diocletian at the turn of the 4th century and see the Grgur Ninski Statue and will see the Cathedral and Bell Tower of St Dominus. Overnight in Split. (B)

DAY 9:                   SPLIT

After breakfast, transfer to Split airport or port. End of our services. (B)
