You will be met and transferred to your hotel. The day is at leisure to begin exploring on your own. Later, gather with your tour director and your fellow travellers for a welcome reception. Overnight in Lisbon.

This morning we stroll through Baixa, Lisbon’s historic heart and commercial centre. We then drive to Belem to view Belem Tower and the Discovery Monument. The Vasco de Gama tomb in the Jeronimos Monastery is next on our journey. After our tour, enjoy the beautiful streets of Lisbon on own or join option tour, Dinner with Fado show. The evening is at leisure. Overnight in Lisbon.

Meals Included:
Breakfast

This morning we depart on a full day private sightseeing tour to Sintra, Cascais, Estoril and Cabo da Roca. Sintra boasts a historic Centre that is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site. After our visit of the Sintra National Palace, we continue to Cabo da Roca, the westernmost cape in Continental Europe. Thereafter, we travel to Cascais, a picturesque fishing town with some quirky museums, beautiful gardens and a lively fish market. Then we are off to Estoril, a former fishing town turned cosmopolitan destination for well-heeled travellers. We return to Lisbon in the evening. Overnight in Lisbon.

Meals Included:

After breakfast, we leave Lisbon and depart towards the north. Our first destination is Obidos, a charming village of white houses on a hill, surrounded by fourteenth century’s walls. Here we stop for a tasting of cherry liquor. We proceed to Nazare after the tasting. Nazare is a popular tourist attraction and picturesque village located on the Atlantic coast. Our next stop is the Monastery of Batalha, a Dominican Convent. We finish the day in Fatima, a Catholic pilgrimage destination and home to sacred sites and religious artifacts. Overnight in Fatima.

NEW STAR

Review for: New Star Cruise Split - Dubrovnik

7 day cruise from Split to Dubrovnik on the NEW STAR. A beautifully designed yacht with an delicious captain and family and all crewmembers were a joy. The food was excellent, the cabin beautiful and soundproof, everything perfect down to the quality of the toilet paper. Everything was beautifully organised and the the tour manager was very efficient and knowledgeable and a wonderful person and always staying calm even with some very difficult passengers. We enjoyed every minute.

We embarked on a Cruise & Stay Package throughout Croatia.

Review for: Croatia & Adriatic Cruise & Stay - M/S Premier

We embarked on a Cruise & Stay Package throughout Croatia. We travelled in October which meant it was the last tour of the season. This came with both positives and negatives. First the positives: 1. Great Tour Managers: Gabby on land and Zoran on the MS Premier. The entire crew were extremely friendly and helpful! 2. Great itinerary with magnificent scenery! 3. Good food and lots of it! 4. Lots of plugs in your room. 5. Adequate storage space. 6. The ship was attractive and clean, and the small numbers allowed the passengers and crew to get to know each other well. 7. During the 2nd week of October, there were no crowds at all in ports which was great, and it was not hot on the walking tours, but at times it was nippy. Negatives: 1. It was too cold to swim except on the last day, and we got some strong winds. We could not enjoy sitting on the ship decks for most of the trip, but everyone went on deck to take photos. 2. The heating and air conditioning on the Premier is controlled by the Captain. The entire ship must be set on either air conditioning or heat. This was a problem for passengers on the lower deck. It was way too hot and stuffy when the heat was turned on at night. If you were upstairs, you could open your balcony door if it got too hot, but downstairs we had to turn the ventilation off completely. This would not be a problem during the summer when the AC would be on the entire time. 3. If you take the last cruise of the year, the bar begins to run out of certain items towards the end of the cruise. 4. The bath products were minimal. You got individual packets of body wash/shampoo, but no conditioner. or lotions, and there was only one tiny waste basket in the bathroom. They needed a waste basket in the room. Overall a great experience and we would defiantly book again.

Do not recommend

Review for: Adriatic Cruise Zadar - Dubrovnik M/S Premier

For the amount you pay for a week trip we had musty rooms, plastic packets of body soap, and no towel changing. The food was what you would expect from Motel 6, every meal was horrid, along with the rude staff. I had searched 100's of ships and chose a premium vessel. With less than a week before we left, we got changed us to another ship, NOT the vessel we had purchased 4 months in advance. The response was they can change us as they please, take it or leave it. I have been on 10 cruises, both big and small ships, this was absolutely the worst and not even close to the 'premium' experience they market. The Cruise Manager was wonderful. I hope she can get a job with a better cruise line.
