Jordan in Brief | 4 Days

Day 1:                 AMMAN

Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel. The remainder of the day is at leisure. Overnight Amman. (D)

Day 2:                 AMMAN – PETRA 

After breakfast, depart Amman for Petra via the Desert way. Begin a full day tour of Petra where you will explore one of the most stunning sites in the entire Middle East – the legendary “Red – Rose” City of Petra carved out of craggy rocks by the Nabateans, the industrious Arab people who settled in the South more than 2,000 years ago. Fortified behind a narrow, deep Siq [Gorge] that slowly winds through a massive rock wall, the majestic façade of the so-called ‘Treasury’ [Al-Kazneh] rises up with a breath-taking view as you emerge into the sunlight. The Monastery [El Deir] and the High Place of the Sacrifice [Al Madbah] are among the myriad archaeological wonders to be explored at Petra. Overnight Petra. (B, D)

Day 3:                 PETRA – KERAK – MADABA – MT NEBO – AMMAN

After breakfast, depart for Amman via King’s way and visit Kerak Castle, built in 1132 a.d. by Baudouin king of Jerusalem on a strategic location on the caravan road linking Egypt to Syria. The fortress is a maze of galleries, arched chambers and fortified towers overlooking the valley of Wadi Mujib, 500 yards below. Stop in Madaba, the city of Mosaics [Medeba in the Bible] and visit St. George Greek Orthodox Church, which shelters a famous 6^th century mosaic map featuring Jerusalem and the Holy Land. Next, a short drive to Mt. Nebo, the presumed burial site of Prophet Moses, before continuing to Amman. Overnight Amman. (B, D) 

Day 4:                 AMMAN

After breakfast, be transferred to Queen Alia International Airport for your flight home. End of our services. (B)

–          Tour can be a combination of regular tours; therefore, coach changes may be required. The same people may not be travelling throughout the tour.

–          Horse ride in Petra is included. Horse carriage ride is not included.

–          Entry Visa in Jordan is not included.

–          Arrival Procedure: Upon arrival in Jordan, you will be met by our representative prior to passing through immigration, and be assisted through the arrivals process. If you are eligible for a Jordan visa fee waiver, you will be issued with complimentary visas before proceeding with our representative through to baggage claim.
