Experience the wonders of the famous Amalfi Coast
Upon arrival into Sorrento, make your own way to the hotel. Rest of the day is at leisure.
Full day tour of the archaeological site of Pompeii and the natural beauty of the Volcano Vesuvius. Thanks to the priority entrance you will skip the stress of a long queue and get inside the ruins without troubles! Enjoy a 2 hour guided walking tour of the ruins of Pompeii. Continue to Mt. Vesuvius. The bus will drop you off at 1000 metres high; from there you can climb till the crater’s edge. The walk is pleasant and the view from the top is unmatchable.
Panoramic drive along the Amalfi Coast to capture one of the most beautiful landscape in the world. Arrival in Positano and about 1 hour free time at leisure. Departure to Amalfi, driving through the beautiful villages of Praiano, Furore and Conca dei Marini. Stop in Amalfi, the original town of hand-made paper production and enjoy 2 hours of free time. Stop in Ravello of about 1 hour. Return to Sorrento.
Transfer to the port of Piano di Sorrento. Departure to Procida. Along the way you will admire Nisida, the Campi Flegrei up to Capo Miseno. Arrive at Procida and tour the island by boat. There will be a couple of stops for swimming and snorkelling. Stop for 1 to 2 hours in Procida. Departure to Ischia and tour of the island by boat. Along the way you will admire the Aragonese Castle, Maronti beach, the spa Cavascura, the oldest of the island, or alternatively the Bay of Sorgeto with its warm waters and mud bath. Stop for 1 to 2 hours to visit the island of Ischia by land. Departure from Ischia to Sorrento with limoncello tasting.
Take the ferry over to Capri then head by minibus to Anacapri in the west of the island, for some free time before making the trip to Capri town for a walking tour. See the Gardens of Augustus, which overlook the famous Faraglioni rocks.
Tour Naples and discover the old town while sampling street food along the way. Stroll past the Royal Palace and on towards the church of San Francesco di Paola at the Piazza del Plebiscito. Wander through lavish Galleria Umberto I and past Europe’s oldest opera house en route to the loud and proud Pignasecca street market. Next, it’s time to traverse Spaccanapoli. As well as churches and peeling palaces to admire, there will be a chance to chew on a “Cuoppo di frittura” a cone of fried finger food and try a famous Neapolitan ‘pizza fritta’. Looking for something sweet, we will move on for a sfogliatelle and babà! There’ll also be a chance to visit the otherworldly Via Toledo Metro station. Stop at the limoncello factory for our final tasting!
