Make your own way to tour hotel.
Depart for the coastal town of Cefalu. Walk to the city centre to reach the Arab-Norman cathedral and the medieval washhouse built in the rock. Proceed to Taormina with free time to enjoy the tiny streets of this charming city, or possibly visit the Greek-Roman Theatre. Continue to Catania.
Depart for the Greek colony of Siracusa. Visit the archaeological area including the Latomia del Paradiso and the Ear of Dionysus. Visit the island of Ortigia, the historical centre of the city. Lunch in a local restaurant. Visit the Cathedral and Arethusa Fountain. Return to Catania for a walking tour.
Depart for Modica, the city of 100 churches. Visit an artisan chocolate workshop for some chocolate tasting. Lunch at a local restaurant followed by free time to explore the town. Continue to Ragusa. Optional night tour of Ragusa Ibla.
Depart for Piazza Armerina to visit the Villa Romana del Casale. Lunch in a local restaurant to taste local specialties. Continue to Agrigento and visit the Valley of the Temples.
Depart for the Archaeological Park of Selinunte with its Temples and Acropolis. Enjoy olive oil tasting and some lunch on a typical farm. Travel to Palermo and then to Monreale to visit the Cathedral with its mosaics and Moorish architecture. Return to Palermo.
Morning visit of the historical centre of Palermo. See Martorana Church, Piazza Bellini, Piazza Bologni, the Cathedral and the Norman Palace. A light lunch of some Palermo street food at a typical local market. Afternoon at leisure.
After breakfast, end of services.
