Itinerary

DAY 1:                                 ZAGREB

On arrival at Zagreb airport, you will be met and transferred to your hotel. The balance of the day is free. Meet your fellow travellers tonight at welcome reception.

DAY 2:                                 ZAGREB

This morning, enjoy a city tour featuring the historic Upper Town, St. Mark’s Church, St. Catherine’s Church, the Cathedral, Parliament, and Government Palace. The rest of the day is at leisure to explore the winding streets of the old town or take an optional excursion to see the countryside. (B)

DAY 3:                                 ZAGREB – LJUBLJANA – BLED

After breakfast head towards Ljubljana, the capital of Slovenia. See the most significant sights of the old city canter on a walking tour. Highlights include the picturesque open-air Central Market, the Three Bridges, Baroque Town Hall, and Robba’s Fountain. Then, continue to Bled. (B, D)

DAY 4:                                 BLED

An Alpine Lake surrounded by high peaks, Bled was “discovered” by travellers in the middle of the 19th century. Since then, a small town of hotels, villas, and restaurants has developed around the lake, turning Bled into a lively, all-seasons resort. A sightseeing tour features the charming town and the lakeshore, and visits imposing Bled Castle, perched on a cliff high above the lake. The balance of the day is at leisure. Perhaps join an optional excursion visiting the small island in the middle of the lake, browse through the shops and boutiques, or simply relax and enjoy the enchanting scenery. (B)

DAY 5:                                 BLED – POSTOJNA – OPATIJA – PLITVICE

The journey continues to Postojna, home to one of the largest caves in Europe. Tour this fantastic subterranean world by miniature electric train. Afterward, continue to the coast, have a stop in Opatija. Enjoy the walking tour of this fashionable resort in the 19th century, dotted with Habsburg era villas. After some free time, continue towards Plitvice Lakes. (B, D)

DAY 6:                                 PLITVICE – SPLIT

After breakfast, have your camera ready as you take a walking tour around the lower lakes. Enjoy the breathtaking scenery of this natural wonder of sixteen terraced lakes surrounded by thickly wooded mountains and lush vegetation. After the tour, head to Split. Overnight in Split. (B, D)

DAY 7:                                 SPLIT

In the morning, enjoy a sightseeing tour featuring the historic inner city, built around the Roman Emperor Diocletian’s Palace, a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage site. Then see the remnants of Split’s Roman heritage, its Renaissance and Gothic structures, Jupiter’s Temple, the Peristyle, and the Cathedral. The rest of the day at leisure, to stroll through the beautiful streets of Split, or enjoy at the beach. (B)

DAY 8:                                 SPLIT – DUBROVNIK

After breakfast travel to Dubrovnik. The rest of the day at leisure. (B, D)

DAY 9:                                 DUBROVNIK

Ater breakfast you will be transferred to the port of Dubrovnik. Embarkation starts in Dubrovnik at 14:00h, get settled in your cabin before attending a welcome reception followed by dinner this evening. (B, D)

DAY 10:                             DUBROVNIK – KORČULA

Early in the morning we set sail for the island of Korčula, with a swim stop, if weather permits, in one of pristine bays, time to relax and lunch on board. Korčula, the most preserved medieval town, and birthplace of the famous explorer Marco Polo. Upon arrival take a walking tour of Korčula that takes you through its narrow, cobbled streets. Evening is free to explore the town on your own. (B, L)

DAY 11:                             KORČULA – BRAC

Our journey then continues towards Pučišća, situated on the island of Brač, village of the stone sculpture, where you can visit amazing stonemason school (optional). Lunch on board before arrival in Pučišća, enjoy a swim in one of Brač’ many lovely coves and bays, if weather permits. Tonight, enjoy Captain’s dinner and overnight in Pučišća. (B, L, D)

DAY 12:                             BRAC – SPLIT

After breakfast we set sail to Split with a stop along the way for a swim and relax, if weather permits, with lunch on board. In the late afternoon we arrive in Split. Upon arrival, join a guided tour of the city, visit the seafront promenade and Roman Emperor Diocletian’s Palace. The historical centre of the city is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site. Your evening is free in Split. (B, L)

DAY 13:                             SPLIT – HVAR

In the morning, we sail to Stari Grad on the Island of Hvar one of the oldest towns in Europe. The Stari Grad Plain and the old town centre of Stari Grad have been listed as UNESCO World Heritage Sites since 2008. Return to your ship for lunch on board and sail towards Hvar with a break for swimming. Upon arrival in Hvar, you will be visiting many historical sights of the town, such as St Stephen’s Square and Cathedral, the Arsenal with the theatre built on its first floor, the first municipal theatre in Europe. Above the town is the impressive fortress Fortica offering magnificent views over the bay and Pakleni islands. Your evening is free in Hvar. (B, L)

DAY 14:                             HVAR – MLJET

In the morning, we sail towards Mljet. Croatian “Greenest Island” with its beautiful, untouched nature and its cultural heritage. We arrive in the heart of Mljet National Park which encompasses five types of forests, many species of birds and two deep lakes. If you want to visit Mljet National Park, walk to the entrance where you can purchase the ticket to walk around the Veliko Jezero (Big Lake) and the Malo Jezero (Small Lake) and join the boat ride to St. Mary Island. Spend the night in Mljet. (B, L)

DAY 15:                             MLJET – DUBROVNIK

In the morning, we continue our adventure by sailing back to Dubrovnik with lunch on board with stop for swimming. Upon arrival in Dubrovnik, you will enjoy a guided tour at the historical centre of Dubrovnik, walk through Stradun – both a street and a square, the most famous place inside the town walls, the famous city enlisted as UNESCO’s World Heritage site, where your guide will show you the most interesting sights of Dubrovnik. After city tour, free time to explore the city, visit City Walls, the Franciscan Monastery with Europe’s second oldest pharmacy, the Rector’s Palace, and the Cathedral, or take a boat ride to Lokrum island or take the cable car to the top of the Mount Srđ. Overnight in Dubrovnik. (B, L)

DAY 16:                             DUBROVNIK

After breakfast it’s time to disembark no later than 9:00h. You will be transferred to Dubrovnik airport. (B)

–          Hotel rooms may not be available for check-in before 2:00 p.m. Tips for baggage handling are not included in the tour price.

–          Tour can be a combination of regular tours, therefore coach changes may be required. The same people may not be travelling throughout the tour.

–         Entrance fee to Mljet National Park is mandatory and is to be paid locally. Entrance fee is €25 per person, however, it is subject to change at any time without notice.
