Transfer on the day of the tour from Zagreb airport, or another hotel in Zagreb to the tour hotel, rest of the day at leisure. Dinner and overnight in Zagreb/Zagreb area. (D)

Day 2 – Thursday:                            ZAGREB – LJUBLJANA

Morning sightseeing tour of Zagreb, Croatian capital city, gives you the opportunity to see the fortified Upper Town, the city’s historical center, St Mark’s church with its multi-colored roof, the Cathedral, Croatian National Theatre and the University. Departure to Ljubljana. Afternoon guided tour of Ljubljana, Slovenian capital where you will see the most significant sights of its old center: the picturesque Central open-air Market and the Three Bridges, the Baroque Town Hall and Robba’s Fountain. Dinner and overnight in Ljubljana /Ljubljana area. (B, D)

Day 3 – Friday:                                  LJUBLJANA – BLED – PLITVICE

Departure to Bled, small town in the Julian Alps that ranks among the most beautiful alpine resorts. It’s like a setting for a classic fairy tale: immense natural beauty with mountains and forests surrounding an emerald glacial lake. Visit to the Bled Castle, which is the oldest in Slovenia. After Bled we are continuing our journey to Plitvice lakes area for overnight and dinner. (B, D)

Day 4 – Saturday:                             PLITVICE – SPLIT

Morning walk around Plitvice lakes, this well-known UNESCO World Heritage Site, natural beauty of the 16 crystal – blue lakes cascading into 92 spectacular waterfalls. Departure to Split. Embark on Adriatic Paradise cruise. Dinner and overnight Split. (B, D)

DAY 5 – Sunday:                               SPLIT – HVAR – KORCULA

Today is the day for enjoying the highlights of the central Dalmatian coast. After breakfast hop over to the island of Hvar, known for the purple of its lavender, the red of its wines and the Venetian feel of its hotspot Hvar. Join a guided walking tour of Hvar. Finally, a short sail takes you to Vela Luka on Korčula Island, where you will arrive just in time for a relaxing late afternoon, a dinner and overnight stay. (B, D)

DAY 6 – Monday:                             KORCULA – MLJET – SLANO

Your captain will choose a secluded bay to hop in the sea and start the day. Surrounded in deep green forests which earned Korčula its name and fame, meditate upon the sound of crickets and silence as you immerse yourself in the essence of this region: the crystal blue sea. Then continue to another green island, this time Mljet. Join our optional excursion** to visit the national park itself, home of two salty lakes connected with the sea via a narrow canal. The bigger lake hides a charming islet in its centre with a 12th-century Benedictine monastery. Spend the evening in the small settlement of Slano on the mainland, once adored by Dubrovnik sea captains. Why becomes self-evident as soon as you take your first stroll along the waterfront. (B,L)

**Optional: Mljet Island National Park

DAY 7 – Tuesday:                             SLANO – DUBROVNIK

In vicinity of Slano, the small town of Ston claims its fame for many things gourmand: strong wines, ancient salt production and succulent oysters and mussels. Our optional tour the Taste of Dalmatia highlights all these treasures, but you can also just relax in Slano before sailing out to Dubrovnik. Midway, a dip in the Adriatic gets you up and ready to join the guided tour of Dubrovnik Old Town. Surrounded by immense city walls, as if in a universe of its own, the world-famous facades line up as you walk the same streets as the cast and crews of the Game of Thrones, Star Wars and Robin Hood. Enjoy an evening of romance, glitz and glam, as you will be staying in Dubrovnik overnight. (B, L)

**Optional excursion: Taste of Dalmatia

DAY 8 – Wednesday:                     DUBROVNIK – ELAPHITE ISLANDS – KORCULA

The far south of Croatia holds many gems. Scattered between Dubrovnik and Korčula, the Elaphite archipelago is alluring for its pristine islands which were once an oasis for local seamen to build their ships and for captains to build their estates. Today, the Elaphites are praised for their quaint ambiance.  Stop for a swim before lunch on board enroute to Korčula. You’ll know Korčula was a Venetian stronghold as soon as you lay your eyes on the many lion statues which lurk at you from the town’s facades and gates. Join the walking tour of Korcula; the alleged home of the world-renowned traveller Marco Polo is bound to charm you. Overnight in Korčula. (B, L)

DAY 9 – Thursday:                           KORCULA – MAKARSKA

Breakfast is served on boat, navigating through the central dalmatian islands on one side and the high mountains of the mainland on the other. Enjoy a swim before your lunch and then spend the afternoon in the beautiful seaside town of Makarska, which is certainly one of the highlights of Dalmatia. The imposing mountain range of Biokovo Nature Park in the background offers a magnificent contrast to the coast with its fabulously beautiful turquoise blue beaches, all of which makes Makarska a true picture book destination, a paradise both for adventure travellers and those seeking a relaxing beach vacation. Strolling through the historic town center, past small romantic alleys and squares, you will discover many attractions worth seeing. Overnight in Makarska. (B, L)

**Optional excursion: Radmanove Mlinice

DAY 10 – Friday:                               MAKARSKA – BRAC – SPLIT

Breakfast is served over the stunning views of the playfully dispersed archipelago of islands and followed by a scenic sail, and even a refreshing dip along the way. Stop to visit the homeland of ‘the Croatian marble’, the island of Brač. You’ve probably seen this ultra-quality limestone already, perhaps on the front of the White House in Washington DC or Bundestag in Berlin, but the walking tour to the still-operating stonemasonry school in Pučišća brings a chance to learn more about shaping this stone for eternity. Continue your sail Split. Join the walking tour of Split’s famous Diocletian Palace. Built to house the Roman Emperor, the Palace grew into a city after Slavs ruined the nearby Roman town of Salona. With our local guide, discover the secrets of centuries past in what is today the vibrant core of Dalmatia’s largest city. Overnight in Split. (B, L)

Amazing Week

Review for: Adriatic Princess Split-Split M/S Adriatic Princess

From the time we were met at the wharf we were looked after day and night. The staff were so accommodating. The food was first class, fresh, well presented and lots of it. The cabins were as comfortable as cabins can be. The ports we visited were picture perfect and so were the restaurant recommendations. We had a ball.

From the moment we boarded

Review for: New Star Cruise Split - Dubrovnik

From the moment we boarded this beautiful ship we were overwhelmed with awe. The people we met will stay in our memory forever. Every member of the crew were extremely hard working and did everything to make life easier and comfortable. They cooked, cleaned, organised excursions and transfers. The young and effervescent tour director, Etna was extremely helpful and informative, She even sang one evening with a traditional Croatian band that came on board. Every day was almost perfect with some beautiful swim stops at stunning locations and stopping at beautiful ports along the way. The ship was very beautiful and luxurious and the cabins vey spacious. The captain took great pride in his ship. We even saw a crew member cleaning the hull with a spray bottle and cloth while treading water at a swim stop. The meals were great and everywhere was clean. I highly recommend this company!
