Amazing Adriatic

Review for: Adriatic Princess Split-Split M/S Adriatic Princess

We were a group of 4 adults, who had an amazing Adriatic adventure. We were greeted warmly on arrival, and were throughout the cruise. The cabins were fabulous, and the crew attentive and friendly. A staff member told us that we would start the week as strangers and leave as family. This was indeed the case, and we found it hard to believe that we had only known them all for 7 days. The boat was roomy, with plenty of space for all to find a corner to relax, whilst sailing. The tours, and activities, were informative and enjoyable. The beautiful Adriatic sea was clean and clear, and being able to swim directly off the boat was fantastic. The ports of call were also beautiful, with quaint villages and old towns. We loved Dubrovnik's Old Town the most, with its historical buildings and character. We would highly recommend a cruise with Sun Island, and the transfers and bookings, surrounding our cruise, were all on time and efficient. We will look forward to our next adventure with Sun Island.

Croatia & Adriatic Cruise - M/S Premier

Review for: From Croatia to Italy Cruise & Stay - M/S Premier

This tour was the 2nd week of October and the last tour of the season. That came with both positives and negatives. First the positives: 1. Great Tour Managers: Gabby on land and Zoran on the MS Premier. They (and the entire crew) were extremely friendly and helpful! 2. Great itinerary with magnificent scenery! 3. Good food and lots of it! 4. Lots of plugs in your room. 5. Adequate storage space. 6.. The ship was attractive and clean, and the small numbers allowed the passengers and crew to get to know each other well. 7. During the 2nd week of October, there were no crowds at all in ports which was great, and it was not hot on the walking tours, but at times it was nippy. Negatives: 1. It was too cold to swim except on the last day, and we got some strong winds. We could not enjoy sitting on the ship decks for most of the trip, but everyone went on deck to take photos. 2. The heating and air conditioning on the Premier is controlled by the Captain. The entire ship must be set on either air conditioning or heat. This was a problem for passengers on the lower deck. It was way too hot and stuffy when the heat was turned on at night. If you were upstairs, you could open your balcony door if it got too hot, but downstairs we had to turn the ventilation off completely. This would not be a problem during the summer when the AC would be on the entire time. 3. If you take the last cruise of the year, the bar begins to run out of certain items towards the end of the cruise. 4. The bath products were minimal. You got individual packets of body wash/shampoo, but no conditioner. or lotions, and there was only one tiny waste basket in the bathroom. They needed a waste basket in the room.

Excellent vessel

Review for: Beauty Cruise Split - Split M/S Equator

The cruise ship 'Avangard' is an excellent vessel. An almost brand new vessel with spacious living areas, luxurious ensuite cabins which were regularly refreshed, gourmet meals. Highly competent captain and sailing crew. Dedicated, skilled and friendly waiting/bar staff, Very knowledgeable and accommodating tour leader. The Split (to Dubrovnik) to Split 7-day tour itinerary was brilliant. So much to see and do, with excellent shore excursions.
